Watch: Benjamin Šeško - Off the Mark for Leipzig

After four goalless Bundesliga outings on the trot, Benjamin Šeško struck twice in the opening 15 minutes to set RB Leipzig on the road to a comfortable home victory over Augsburg. The rangy Slovenian striker is back in the groove, having scored on each of the previous campaign’s last seven matchdays to make it 14 goals in all in his first year in Germany. That late-season salvo doubtless helped pique the interest of a few prestigious European clubs, but rather than trigger his release clause, the 21-year-old opted to extend terms with Leipzig through to 2029. He and they clearly have big plans together.
