Youssoufa Moukoko becomes youngest player to make 50 Bundesliga appearances
Borussia Dortmund sensation Youssoufa Moukoko added yet another record to his collection by becoming the Bundesliga's youngest ever player to reach 50 appearances.
At the age of 18 years and 139 days, Moukoko surpassed Florian Wirtz as the youngest player to reach their Bundesliga half-century, with the Bayer Leverkusen midfielder previously setting the bar at 18 years and 226 days of age.
Moukoko made the occasion even more special by hitting a 79th-minute winner against Union Berlin on Matchday 27 of the 2022/23 campaign - a victory that could prove crucial in Dortmund's title bid.

Moukoko has made a habit of plundering records, ever since he first played with BVB's U17s aged 13, their U19s aged 14, and registering a total of 127 goals and 26 assists in just 84 appearances in all competitions for Dortmund at youth level.
He was promoted to first-team training in January 2020, some 11 months before his 16th birthday and he became the Bundesliga's youngest ever player one day after turning 16 when he replaced Erling Haaland in Dortmund's 5-2 thrashing of Hertha Berlin on Matchday 8 of the 2020/21 campaign.
Less than a month later, he wrote his name into the history books as the Bundesliga's youngest scorer with his effort against Union on Matchday 13 - at 16 years and 28 days - beating Wirtz's previous record once again.

The teenager's record collection doesn't stop there. He is also the UEFA Champions League's youngest player (16 years and 19 days of age), and the Bundesliga's youngest player to get on the scoresheet in the Klassiker, the Revierderby, to score a brace and reach double figures for goals.
He also made his senior Germany debut in a 2022 World Cup warm-up against Oman, becoming the four-time world champions' youngest debutant since the late Uwe Seeler in 1954, and fourth all told. A week later, he made history as the youngest Germany player to appear at a World Cup finals, aged 18 and three days, breaking the record held by Karl-Heinz Schnellinger (19 years and two months, 1958 World Cup).
