Latest Germany squad: Niclas Füllkrug returns, Wael Mohya earns maiden call-up
In-form striker Niclas Füllkrug has been recalled, while Wael Mohya has received his maiden call-up to the Germany squad for the UEFA Nations League fixtures against Serbia and the Netherlands.
Füllkrug has enjoyed an electric start to the 2026/27 Bundesliga campaign at Werder Bremen, sitting top of the goalscoring charts with nine goals. As a result, he has been recalled to the Germany squad by head coach Jürgen Klopp, having last featured for Die Nationalelf in June 2025. He has 14 goals in 24 appearances for his country.
Seventeen-year-old Mohya, meanwhile, recently became the fourth-youngest player in Bundesliga history to net in back-to-back games. The Borussia Mönchengladbach youngster has featured for Germany's youth teams, picking up two U21 caps, but has not yet played for the senior side.

Finn Jeltsch and Brajan Gruda are the other two uncapped players in Klopp's latest group, which includes 24 players. That represents a significant drop from the 44 players, divided into two squads, called up for September and October's internationals.
Klopp said: "I'm really looking forward to our next two games. We've got a good mix of youth and experience in the squad. After naming 44 players in September, it was difficult to narrow things down because – and this is actually the good news – there are more players who deserve to be involved. But that's exactly how it should be. The more quality you have at your disposal, the harder those decisions become, and that's a good problem to have.”
Germany will face Serbia on Friday 13 November (kick-off: 8.45pm CET) and the Netherlands on Monday 16 November (kick-off: 8.45pm CET). They currently sit third in Nations League Group A2 behind the Dutch and Greece with two games left to play.
