VBL Grand Final by bevestor: Schedule and format
The VBL Grand Final by bevestor takes place on 4 and 5 June as we look to crown the best player in Germany at FIFA 22. Here’s all you need to know on how the weekend in Cologne is planned…
There are 32 players competing in the Grand Final by bevestor for the chance to be named Germany’s best eFootballer. Those players are split equally into 16 on the Xbox and 16 on the PlayStation, who have to get through a group stage in their respective competitions. It’s being played in the so-called Swiss mode.
That means the fixtures are drawn in the first round, before the players with the same win-loss record face off in four more rounds. Whoever has the most goals on aggregate from two legs wins. If a player loses three times, they are out of the Grand Final.
It will leave eight players left from each console for the knockout round. If things are level after two games here, there will be extra-time or penalties. The semi-finals will produce winners for both the Xbox and PlayStation sections, who then face off in the cross-console final. This sees a match played on each console to crown the individual VBL champion for 2021/22.
