Tim Kleindienst back in Borussia Mönchengladbach training
Borussia Mönchengladbach striker Tim Kleindienst has returned to training after several months on the sidelines with injury, but it remains to be seen whether he will be able to feature in the season run-in.
Gladbach currently sit six points above the relegation play-off spot so are not yet mathematically safe, with fixtures against Borussia Dortmund, Augsburg and Hoffenheim still to come.
However, Eugen Polanski 's side were given a boost on Wednesday when captain Kleindienst returned to training for the first time after several months out injured.

The 30-year-old striker took part in passing drills and small-sided games with the team before continuing his individual programme afterwards.
“This week is all about gradually reintegrating Tim and helping him regain the feel for football," said Polanski. "After that, we’ll discuss the next steps together with the medical staff.”
A return to action for the six-time Germany international would be a major boost for Gladbach, as Kleindienst struck 16 times in 31 league matches during his debut campaign with the Foals in 2024/25, following 12 in 33 for Heidenheim the previous season.
Following a serious meniscus injury sustained last year, he only made two brief substitute appearances this season before his knee caused problems again, forcing him to the treatment room once again.
