
The VBL Club Championship by bevestor kicks off - all you need to know
The Virtual Bundesliga by bevestor started on 1 November, with the VBL Club Championship set to kick off on the 9th. How does the competition work? And where can you watch the games?

In the VBL Club Championship, 26 clubs from the Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 compete with their eSport teams and determine the German club champions in eFootball. All matches in the VBL Club Championship are played on the latest generation of consoles (PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X / S). As standard, there are two game days on each matchday. The first two double matchdays of the new season will take place on 9 and 10 November, starting at 6pm CET. The final with the eight best clubs will take place on 26 and 27 March 2022.

On the VBL's official Twitch channel, four selected games are streamed in conference format - two for each day of the round, and, at the end, a single game is streamed as a featured match.

Any FIFA player aged 16 and over who is resident in Germany can take part in the VBL Open . To participate you need a corresponding console (PlayStation 4 or 5 or Xbox One or Series S / X) and FIFA 22; In order to enable those who do not yet have a next-gen console to take part, the competition runs on the PS4/X1 versions. Select "Seasons" in the main menu, switch to "Live Competitions" in the top left menu and start the bevestor Virtual Bundesliga. You can then choose from the 18 Bundesliga clubs, and play in 90 mode to ensure the greatest possible equality of opportunity.
Until the end of March, the Open extends over five qualifying rounds with 60 games each per month, from May the VBL Open Playoffs will continue - the preliminary stage to the VBL Grand Final, in which the title "German Champion in eFootball" and prize money of 100,000 euros is played for. Twenty players per month, the best 10 per platform, qualify for the VBL Open Playoffs. Four more playoff tickets will be awarded via selected community competitions.

The VBL Open and the VBL Club Championship will be brought together in the VBL Grand Final . The Grand Final will take place at the beginning of June 2022, where the German champions among the individual players will be chosen. In addition, three places will be awarded for the EA SPORTS FIFA Global Series 22 1vs1 playoffs, which will be played on the PS5.
