Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 mourns the loss of Agyemang Diawusie
German football is mourning the loss of Regensburg forward Agyemang Diawusie, who has died at the age of 25.
"The Jahn family mourns with the bereaved and our thoughts are with Agyemang's family, relatives, close friends and companions," a Regensburg club statement read on 28 November. "Due to the terrible situation and out of respect for his family, we ask that their privacy be respected."
Diawusie joined Regensburg in summer 2023, and went on to make 16 appearances for the Bavarian club. The former Germany youth international also represented RB Leipzig, Wehen Wiesbaden, Ingolstadt, Dynamo Dresden, Austrian outfit Ried, and Bayreuth, playing in 15 Bundesliga 2 games.
