Marco Rose's team travel to Scotland needing to overturn their 4-2 defeat at the Signal Iduna Park a week ago.
They will have to do so without the services of Erling Haaland, but Dortmund showed their capabilities in front of goal even without their top-scorer in a resounding 6-0 win over Borussia Mönchengladbach at the weekend.
Reus scored twice and laid on three more of the six goals in a Man of the Matchday performance that has given the 32-year-old plenty to be confident about going into their second-leg meeting with the Scottish champions.

"We still scored a lot of goals in the Bundesliga," Reus told media on the eve of the tie. "[The Gladbach win] was a step forward, but now we have to go one step further and show a reaction to the reaction.
"We don't have to motivate ourselves. We know what's at stake. It's a do-or-die game and we have big plans. We'll do everything we can to make Thursday our day."
With the away goals rule now scrapped, a two-goal win on the night will be enough to force extra-time and potentially penalties, while any win by a three-goal margin will send Dortmund through.
Reus is expecting a frosty reception for Dortmund at Ibrox Stadium, but any hostility on the big stage will only give the Germany international more motivation.
He said: "A hot atmosphere awaits us. But that's something very nice and can be very motivating. That won't be a problem for us."
