Manuel Neuer on final three-man shortlist for The Best FIFA Men's Goalkeeper 2021 award
Bayern Munich's Manuel Neuer is among the final three names shortlisted for the Best FIFA Men's Goalkeeper 2021 award, alongside Gianluigi Donnarumma and Edouard Mendy.
The 35-year-old, now in his 11th season at Bayern, received the prestigious prize for 2020 after fending off competition from Liverpool's Alisson Becker and Atletico Madrid's Jan Oblak.
Neuer was once again at his imperious best in 2021, helping Bayern pick up a record ninth straight Bundesliga title and leading Germany to qualification for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

The nominees were selected by a jury made up of national team coaches and captains, as well as leading journalists from across the globe. Robert Lewandowski, who won the Best FIFA Men's Player award for 2020, will find out on Friday if he is among the finalists for the 2021 gong too.
The winners in the various categories, including Best Coach and the Puskas Award - for which Bayer Leverkusen forward Patrik Schick is a contender for his stunning long-range effort against Scotland for Czech Republic at Euro 2020 - will be announced at the official ceremony in Zurich on 17 January, which will be streamed LIVE on bundesliga.com.
