The best of the Bundesliga Home Challenge on FIFA 20
With the ongoing coronavirus having paused Bundesliga action for now, the DFL organised the "Bundesliga Home Challenge" which pitted the likes of Nassim Boujellab and Achraf Hakimi against each on other on FIFA 20 by EA SPORTS.
From the 28 March until 19 April, the invitational tournament took place every Saturday and Sunday for four weekends. The 58 ties played totalled 116 games between 30 teams across the Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 - including a team of referees!
Each team was represented by two players (usually one professional footballer and an Esports representative from the club ). The tournament was played in online mode on the PlayStation 4, with all virtual teams given a matching skill level of 85.
