Hoffenheim goalkeeper Oliver Baumann joins top 10 players with most Bundesliga appearances
Hoffenheim and Germany goalkeeper Oliver Baumann has entered the Bundesliga's top 10 list of players with the most appearances.
Baumann featured in his 518th Bundesliga game against Augsburg on Matchday 29 of the 2025/26 campaign, drawing level with former Bochum defender Michael Lameck in 10th.
The 35-year-old is one of only two active players in the top 10 after Bayern Munich's Manuel Neuer, who he trails by 26 appearances. He is, however, five years younger than his Germany predecessor, suggesting he may have the chance to surpass him at some point in the future.

At the top of the rankings is Eintracht Frankfurt's one-club legend Karl-Heinz 'Charly' Körbel, with a mammoth 602 outings. Baumann is also the fourth goalkeeper on the list, with ex-Bayern great Oliver Kahn the highest-ranked in that position in third on 557 appearances.
Hoffenheim captain Baumann made his Bundesliga debut for Freiburg on the final day of the 2009/10 campaign as his side defeated Borussia Dortmund 3-1. Over the next four seasons he made a further 130 appearances before joining Hoffenheim in 2014.
He has been close to an ever-present since then, missing just 14 matches across the past 12 campaigns (including this current one). He is Hoffenheim's all-time record appearance-maker.
Three more outings would see Baumann move up to ninth in the table, while another full campaign in 2026/27 could see him enter the all-time top five.
