Germany unveil new dark blue away kit for 2026 FIFA World Cup
The German Football Association and partners adidas have unveiled Germany’s new away jersey for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup in the USA, Canada and Mexico.
The dark blue shirts are based on Germany’s traditional blue training tops and will be worn for the first time in the friendly against Switzerland in Basel on 27 March.
"It's unusual to see a Germany shirt in this colour, but it's a really good one," said former Bayer Leverkusen and current Liverpool midfielder Florian Wirtz. "I'm really looking forward to playing in it soon.

"Our fans will also be able to wear the away shirt as part of a casual look, and it definitely gets you in the mood for the World Cup."
Julian Nagelsmann's side begin their World Cup campaign against Curaçao in Houston on 14 June. They then take on Ivory Coast in Toronto six days later before rounding off Group E against Ecuador in East Rutherford on 25 June.
Germany host Ghana three days after their trip to Switzerland before further pre-World Cup friendlies against Finland and the USA on 31 May and 6 June respectively.
