
English teenager Jude Bellingham joins Borussia Dortmund from Birmingham City
Borussia Dortmund have confirmed the signing of 17-year-old English talent Jude Bellingham from Birmingham City on a long-term deal.
Bellingham is regarded as one of Europe's biggest teenage talents and has chosen to leaves him home country to join Bundesliga giants Dortmund despite interest from a host of top clubs across the continent.
"I can't thank Birmingham City enough for what the club did for me - not just this season, but since I came to the club when I was seven," Bellingham said. "Now I'm really excited to join one of the biggest clubs in Europe. BVB's path, but especially how they help young players to improve, made the decision very easy for me personally and for my whole family.

Bellingham is looking to follow in the footsteps of fellow countryman Jadon Sancho, who joined Dortmund from Manchester City in 2017, aged just 17. Since then the winger has gone on to become a senior international for England as well as starring for Dortmund, becoming a key player under Lucien Favre.
Talented box-to-box midfielder Bellingham has represented England at U15, U16 and U17 level and made 40 appearances in England's second-tier for Birmingham, scoring four goals and contributing three assists in the process.
