Borussia Dortmund’s 2019 USA summer tour overview
Borussia Dortmund have been in the United States for a six-day training camp as part of their preparations for the 2019/2020 campaign. BVB beat both the Seattle Sounders and European champions Liverpool to complete a perfect trip.

Lucien Favre’s Dortmund side arrived in Seattle on Monday 15 July, before three outstanding goals from Marius Wolf, Paco Alcacer and Jadon Sancho helped them to beat MLS side the Seattle Sounders 3-1 on July 17.
BVB then travelled to Notre Dame, Indiana, where they beat European champions Liverpool 3-2 on Friday 19 July.
USA youth international Gio Reyna earned a start in the game against Liverpool, despite being only 16, and even registered an assist for Alcacer's opener. Second half goals from Thomas Delaney and Jacob Bruun Larsen helped power Dortmund to the win.
Lucien Favre took a 26-man squad from Dortmund, including club captain Marco Reus, Englishman Jadon Sancho, and new signings Mats Hummels, Julian Brandt, Thorgan Hazard and Nico Schulz.
