The Bundesliga is famous for its fan-first approach and the cracking atmospheres inside stadiums. Over the course of Matchday 29, fans from several clubs unveiled tifos, showing support for their teams. Here is a look at some of the best…

Ahead of VfB Stuttgart’s 4-0 win against Hamburg on Sunday, fans of the home side revealed a huge tifo that filled an entire stand. It was designed to show the club and the city’s history, and written underneath it were the words, ‘The love never ends.’

Cologne and Werder Bremen’s relegation six-pointer on Sunday also saw some impressive tifos unveiled. Fans of the home side revealed a tifo dedicated to a young fan named Nicolas ahead of their 3-1 win. The 26-year-old had sadly passed away in March after a battle with illness. He had been a member of the Cologne supporter group, the Wilden Horde, and had been involved in leading chants during club matchdays. The tifo was a depiction of Nicolas in his fan gear, surrounded by angels.

Bremen’s tifo, meanwhile, referenced the fierce match-up between the two clubs and encouraged the away side to give their all to take home the three points. The tifo depicted the Bremen coat of arms with the words, ‘Bremen win the derby’, written underneath.

In Dortmund, the home fans also unveiled a tifo in memory of a fan ahead of their 1-0 defeat to Bayer Leverkusen. Davud Mohammed had worked as part of the Borussia Dortmund Fan-Projekt for almost two decades, but sadly lost his life at the beginning of April after a long battle with illness.

Lastly, Mainz fans also displayed a tifo ahead of their 1-0 defeat to Freiburg. Their tifo celebrated the 15th anniversary of the foundation of one of the club’s biggest supporter groups, ‘Gruppo Ubriaco'.
