Bayern Munich sign Barry Hepburn from Celtic
Bayern Munich have completed the signing of Scotland U17 winger Barry Hepburn from Celtic.
A tricky right-footed winger who combines skill and an impressive change of pace, Hepburn will join up with Danny Schwarz's U17s initially, with progression to the first team and competition with Leroy Sane, Kingsley Coman et al the eventual goal.
"We are very happy to have completed Barry's transfer," said academy director Jochen Sauer. "He's an attcking player with a lot of potential who we want to help develop."
Hepburn becomes the second Scot at the FC Bayern Campus, joining fellow-former Celtic player Liam Morrison at the club, and the third on their books overall after Alan McInally, who won the title with Bayern in 1990.
