Bayern Munich have announced a summer tour to the USA, their first visit to the country since 2019, including a fixture against Pep Guardiola's Manchester City in Green Bay.
The club have dubbed it their ‘Back on the Road’ tour, having postponed any non match-related travel since the onset of the pandemic.
Julian Nagelsmann’s side will head across the Atlantic from 18-24 July for what will be the team’s fifth trip to the US, following visits in 2014, 2016, 2018 and 2019.

Bayern will land in the capital city of Washington DC, where they will stay from 18-22 July. They have scheduled a friendly against MLS side DC United on 20 July.
That will then be followed on 23 July with a mouth-watering clash against former coach Guardiola's Manchester City at the 81,000-capacity Lambeau Field. It will be the first time the home of the NFL's Green Bay Packers has hosted a football match.
"After two years of the pandemic, we are very much looking forward to getting back in touch with the fans with our extremely popular and successful Audi Summer Tours,” Bayern CEO Oliver Kahn said in a statement on the club website.
“It will be great to see the enthusiasm of the people out there. FC Bayern are 'Back on the Road' - always looking forward and with the aim of bringing joy to our fans.”
On Bayern’s last trip to the US in 2019, a 10-day whirlwind tour that spanned Los Angeles, Houston and Kansas, they recorded friendly wins over Real Madrid and AC Milan, but lost to Arsenal.
