There are three German teams in Europe's final fours for the first time in 29 years after Bayern Munich set up a UEFA Champions League semi-final clash with Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund will face Paris Saint-German, while Bayer Leverkusen are flying the flag in the UEFA Europa League and will take on Roma.

Dortmund reached the Champions League final four for the fourth time in their history with a famous win over Atlético Madrid in the quarter-finals. They will now face Paris Saint-German for a place in the Wembley final.

Bayern also progressed thanks to a second-leg victory over Arsenal at the Allianz Arena. Real Madrid are up next, meaning a repeat of the 2013 final, also at England's national stadium, is still on the cards.

Earlier in the competition, Leipzig narrowly lost to Real Madrid in their tie. Union Berlin were the only Bundesliga representative to fail to get beyond the group stage.

New Bundesliga champions Leverkusen are into the Europa League semis looking to avenge last season's elimination to Roma and continue their treble quest after overcoming West Ham United, who'd beaten Freiburg in the last 16.

Eintracht Frankfurt, meanwhile, fell at the play-off hurdle in the UEFA Europa Conference League against Union Saint-Gilloise of Belgium.
