2023/24 Champions, Europa & Conference League fixtures for Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig, Union Berlin, Bayer Leverkusen, Freiburg & Eintracht Frankfurt
Four German clubs are competing in the 2023/24 UEFA Champions League with Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig and debutants Union Berlin, while Bayer Leverkusen and Freiburg are the Bundesliga representatives in the Europa League. Eintracht Frankfurt are flying the flag in the Conference League.
Bayern kick off at home to Manchester United, Dortmund face a tough draw with Paris Saint-Germain, AC Milan and Newcastle United, Leipzig face holders Manchester City, while Union's first-ever Champions League fixture is against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu. The Berliners will be playing their home games in Europe this season at the larger Olympiastadion instead of the Stadion an der Alten Försterei.
There will also be three matches played at Hamburg's Volksparkstadion as Ukrainian champions Shakhtar Donetsk hold their home games there due to the war in their homeland.

Borussia Dortmund suffered defeat in their UEFA Champions League Group F opener against a PSG side that had Kylian Mbappé and former BVB man Achraf Hakimi on the scoresheet.
Shakhtar Donetsk 1-3 Porto (in Hamburg)

Real Madrid 1-0 Union Berlin
Goals: 1-0 Bellingham (90'+4)
Union hearts were broken after a battling, maiden Champions League performance at the Santiago Bernabéu ended with a Jude Bellingham winner for the hosts deep into injury time.
Bayern Munich 4-3 Manchester United
