Bayern bow out

The Bundesliga champions won't be the champions of Europe this season after Bayern could only draw 1-1 at home to PSG on Wednesday night, going out 6-5 on aggregate in the semi-finals. Harry Kane's goal came too late to mount a full comeback at the Allianz Arena, after Ousmane Dembélé's third-minute opener put the Champions League holders in command.

Olise to hurt Wolfsburg once more?

Olise scored twice and provided an assist in the 8-1 win earlier this season. That is part of his huge goal contribution of 33 (14 goals and 19 assists). He is now just two assists from the all-time single-season assist record of 21, held by former Bayern ace Thomas Müller.

Late greatness

Bayern's total of 34 goals in the final 15 minutes of games is another record, while they have also created history with the most goals from the bench (19) in a single Bundesliga season.

Bayern's strong recovery

Even if Wolfsburg take the lead, they cannot rest on their laurels. Bayern have won 29 points from losing positions so far this season - a new Bundesliga record.

Only one defeat

Bayern's loss against Augsburg earlier this year remains their sole Bundesliga defeat of the season. Only twice have they made it through an entire campaign with just one defeat: in 1986/87 and 2012/13. Bayern went unbeaten on the road in both of those campaigns, just as they are in 2025/26.
