Full-time: Freiburg 1-1 Wolfsburg

Koulierakis opened the scoring but Freiburg responded well with Lienhart's header securing a share of the spoils for the hosts. A point is enough for both teams to move up one position. Freiburg climb into seventh, enough to secure European football, and Wolfsburg move into 16th, the promotion/relegation play-off.

Gah! What an ending we have here in Freiburg. Eggestein's first touch takes the ball away from him and while stretching for the ball, slips, which sees his effort sail narrowly over Grabara's crossbar. The hosts are looking for a winner here!

14'

Manzambi through on goal...

...but his decisive touch takes the ball away from him and Wolfsburg are able to clear. Still, that was promising from the hosts, who are looking to bypass the Wolves' press.
12'

Dangerous free-kick

Grifo and Beste stand over the ball and it's the former who strikes it, but his effort sails over Grabara's crossbar.
9'

Phwoar!

Away we go!

The final game of Matchday 32 is under way. Wolfsburg get the ball rolling here in Freiburg...
Kick-off!

Kick-off approaching

Both teams make their way out of the tunnel, with plenty on the line at both ends of the table. A draw for Freiburg will see Schuster's charges go seventh, enough to secure European football for 2026/27.
camera-photo

It's all on the line

After St. Pauli's defeat against Mainz, a draw for Wolfsburg will be enough to lift them out of the automatic relegation places and into 16th for the first time in over two months. However, a defeat would leaving Eriksen and Co. in 17th, meaning they could only secure their Bundesliga status via the promotion/relegation play-off.
camera-photo

A threat from the bench?

Amoura, Wolfsburg's top scorer with eight goals this season, is a substitute for the first time since 7 March, when the Wolves lost 2-1 against Hamburg.

Watch: Noah Atubolu's top three Bundesliga penalty saves

Freiburg's custodian made himself big to deny Rodrigo Zalazar from the spot in the UEFA Europa League, but it's not the first time the young stopper has come up trumps. The 23-year-old is making a name for himself as a penalty killer.
camera-photo

Freiburg still in it

Julian Schuster's charges remain very much in their UEFA Europa League semi-final tie despite a narrow 2-1 defeat against Braga in Portugal. They went behind early but responded well through Vincenzo Grifo's equaliser before Noah Atubolu pulled off an excellent save to deny former Schalke midfielder Rodrigo Zalazar from the spot. Mario Dorgeles struck in stoppage time to secure a victory for Braga but Freiburg will hope to turn the tie around next week in Germany to make the final in Istanbul.
