Cologne's Said El Mala has been a whirlwind on the left wing for Effzeh this term, the Germany U21 international scoring six goals and providing two assists for Lukas Kwasniok's side.

Union have picked up more than half of their points this season (10 out of 18) against the current top seven teams in the table. Last weekend's 3-1 victory against RB Leipzig followed wins against Stuttgart (2-1) and Eintracht Frankfurt (4-3), while the Irons were the first Bundesliga team to take a point from Bayern Munich (2-2) this term.
