Golden!
Olise hides his head in his jersey after side-footing Guerreiro's cross wide of the mark from an unmarked position in the BVB box. That was the chance!

Deflected!
Kobel can only stand and watch as a deflected Kimmich strike whistles past the upright. Corner to come, but it's punched to safety.
90'
Roof of the net!
Moments after Gnabry sends a rasping drive over the Dortmund goal, Groß finds himself with only Urbig to beat, but his attempted lob from a difficult angle sails just over! Four added minutes to play...

Millimetres away!
Chukwuemeka pounces on another defensive error, before winding up a shot from 18 yards. The ball takes a wicked deflection off a defender and bobbles agonisingly wide of Urbig's right-hand post.
84'
Let-off!
Pavlović concedes possession in the Bayern area, but there are no takers for Chukwuemeka's cut-back. That was a real hearts in mouths moment!
82'
Ch-ch-ch-changes
Kingsley Coman replaces Müller, whose played his last Klassiker in Bayern colours. Dortmund make two changes, with Ramy Bensebaini on at the back for Süle and Karim Adeyemi replacing Beier in attack.

Eyes on Müller
Müller has a go from the edge of the D, but it's meat and drink for Kobel. He's played his part in a classic Klassiker, despite not getting on the scoresheet.
77'
Double chance!
Bayern respond with Guerreiro, but Kobel dives to his left to make the stop. The home side recycle possession as a ball's sent in to Kane, who tickles the side netting from a tight angle.
75'
All square in Munich!
Bayern are pegged back after failing to clear their lines following a corner. Urbig does really well to repel Guirassy's shot on the turn, but is powerless to stop Anton sweeping in the rebound. That is what Der Klassiker is all about!

WHAT. A. GOAL!
Gnabry's turned the game on its head. He drives at the Dortmund defence, slaloming past three players and slotting a tidy finish into the bottom corner to give Bayern a 2-1 lead.
66'
Guerreir-GOAL!
Parity in Munich and it's the former Dortmund man with the leveller. Guerreiro starts the move by teeing up a probing run from Gnabry. Müller expertly touches the substitute's low pass back to Guerreiro, who sends a cool first-time finish past Kobel. Inspired changes by Kompany!

This has been a fabulous spell for Dortmund. Their left-flank combo of Svensson and Beier are causing Bayern real problems.

BVB probing

Off the bar!
Müller pulls the trigger inside the Dortmund penalty area, but a deflection off the back-tracking Anton sends the ball spinning onto the crossbar. Kobel was unmoved.
55'
Here comes Guerreiro
The former Dortmund all-rounder is on. He's a left-back by trade, but can operate in midfield and even played as a No.10 in the Champions League in midweek. Kim makes way in a move that'll likely see Stanišić shift inside.

It's fair to say Kompany didn't see that coming. The Bayern head coach is preparing a change...

Dortmund lead!
Well, well. Dortmund break brilliantly with Beier. He plays a pass inside to Brandt on halfway, before continuing his run. Ryerson pops up on the overlap and sends a cross towards the back post, where Kim completely switches off, allowing Beier to send a downward header past Urbig. Talk about smash and grab!

Stunning combination
And almost a dream goal for Bayern as Müller back-heels a chipped pass from deep into the path of Kane, whose rising drive is pushed over by Kobel. Müller then heads into the arms of the Dortmund stopper from the ensuing corner.
Half-time
45'
Uncertain goalkeeping
Urbig opts to punch clear a Ryerson free-kick, when he had time and space to make the catch. That perhaps highlights the young German's relative inexperience married with the pressure-cooker of Der Klassiker.
42'
Off the training ground
Dortmund survive a couple of corners, before winning a set-piece of their own in the Bayern half. Groß hoodwinks the waiting red shirts by spinning a pass out to the left-hand side of the area for Süle, whose ambitious volley is blocked.
39'
One-v-one!
Kim makes a quite brilliant recovery challenge to stop Ryerson playing in Guirassy. Kane helps it on to send Olise racing clear at the other end, but Kobel makes himself big and pushes the Frenchman's shot wide.
37'
Off target
Brandt breaks and wins a corner in a welcome bit of respite for the visitors. The resultant delivery is only half cleared, before Svensson sends a daisy-cutter bobbling wide of the far post.
35'
Free header!
Stanišić is unmarked as he rises between two Dortmund defenders to meet Kimmich's cross form the right. The Croatian gets right under it, though, heading miles over the crossbar. Best chance of the game, that!
32'
Not working
Kovač is deep in conversation with his coaching team as Kobel claims a cross from Stanišić. It would be a huge surprise if he doesn't make a change at the break.
29'
Shovelled clear
Kobel gets down really well to turn away Müller's cross and prevent Olise applying the finishing touch from close range. It's all Bayern...

Right idea
Dortmund lose possession, allowing Bayern to break with Müller. He bides his time as Sané makes a burst through the middle, the Bayern veteran instead looping a cross towards Olise, who miscues his volley wide. The Frenchman just didn't catch it right.

Wide from Müller!
Not an easy one by any stretch as Mr. Bayern takes aim on his weaker left foot from 18 yards, dragging wide. That's a warning for BVB. They were prised open by some lovely one-touch passing.
9'
Right-wing threat
Olise plays Laimer in behind the BVB defence, but he's off balance and his attempted cross doesn't trouble Kobel.
7'
Half chance!
Good spell of passing for Dortmund, with Beier looking lively on the left-hand side. Bayern get a temporary reprieve, before Can bypasses the home defence with a long ball back up to Beier. He helps it into the box for Brandt, who drives a fierce effort into the side netting.
4'
Blocked!
Olise doing Olise things as he cuts inside and tries to find the far corner, only for the shot to hit a BVB defender. Bayern have started with real purpose...
3'
Talking tactics
With Schlotterbeck ruled out with a long-term knee injury, Kovač appears to have opted for a three-man defence with wing-backs. They have a bit of work to do here as Müller tries to wriggle free in the box, but the yellow shirts see off the threat.

Sprightly
Sané applies the pressure from the get-go, but a Dortmund defender steps in and steers the ball back to Kobel.

Incredible atmosphere at the Allianz as the Bayern and BVB players take to the field. It looks and feels more like a major final, but it's Der Klassiker - modern German football's most prestigious fixture. There's nothing like it!
Pair of Klassiker newbies
In Bayern's Jonas Urbig and Dortmund's Daniel Svensson, we have one player per side getting their first taste of Der Klassiker today.
Warm-ups underway

Crossing the Klassiker divide
Bayern's Guerreiro is ex-Dortmund, while Süle turned out for the record champions between 2017 and 2022. Born in Munich, Adeyemi spent two years in the club's youth ranks before eventually getting his big break in Austria with Salzburg.
More on those teams
Thomas Müller starts in place of Raphaël Guerreiro in the only change to the Bayern team beaten by Inter in midweek. Kovač goes for more of an overhaul, with five players that started the Barca loss dropping out. Niklas Süle, Daniel Svensson, Pascal Groß, Salih Özcan and Maximilian Beier come in.

Leverkusen stumble!
Union have held the reigning champions to a goalless draw, in a welcome bit of pre-Klassiker news for leaders Bayern. Kompany's charges could have the title sewn up by the end of the month, at this rate.

Sun's shining
It's a gorgeous day in the Bavarian capital - sunny, with temperatures hovering around 20C. It's expected to rain goals later on, though. There's not been a 0-0 draw in Der Klassiker in almost a decade, while the last 12 in Munich have each witnessed at least two goals.

All to play for
With Leverkusen currently being held at home to Union Berlin, a Klassiker win for Bundesliga leaders Bayern would open up an eight-point lead with five rounds of fixtures to go. Three points for Dortmund, meanwhile, could move them to within one point of the top six, depending on results elsewhere.
Hope for BVB

Tale of the tape
While Dortmund have suffered more defeats (54) and conceded more goals (224) in the Bundesliga against Bayern than against any other team, the record champions have won just 48.6 percent of their top-flight matches against BVB. They only have a worse win rate against Gladbach (47.8 percent) among current Bundesliga clubs.

First time in almost a decade
Since the summer of 2015, both sides have headed into each Klassiker inside the league's top five, however, with Dortmund currently in eighth place, the gulf between the sides hasn't been bigger in nearly 10 years. However, everyone knows anything can happen in the Klassiker...

Almost identical
Bayern have also won three of their last five, but only lost one of the remaining two games, while Dortmund lost both. Those consecutive winless games against Bochum and Union Berlin didn't harm Bayern's title credentials, however, as they still sit six points clear of Bayer Leverkusen.
Finding form?
With three wins from the last five, including two from their last two, Dortmund seem to have found some late season rhythm under Niko Kovač and have now climbed up to eighth.
