BAYERN ROAR BACK

Bayern move back up to fourth following defeats to Leverkusen and Gladbach. They were rampant at the Allianz, but Coutinho will take all the plaudits after having a hand in five of the defending champions' six goals. What a performance.

SINGH TO ME!

Stnding ovation for Coutinho - he's had a hand in five of Bayern's six goals. New Zealand international Sarpreet Singh is on for his Bundesliga debut.

COUTINHO HAT-TRICK!

Within minutes of teeing up Thomas Müller for Bayern's fifth, Coutinho completes his hat-trick. Perisic provides the pass, Coutinho's first touch takes him away from Sahin onto his preferred right foot and the finish - angled and away from Pavlenka. Pearler

LEWANDOWSKI AT THE DOUBLE!

Game over for Bremen. Bayern substitute Thomas Müller lifts an inviting ball into the box towards Ivan Perisic. He's offside, so leaves it for Robert Lewandowski, who takes one Coutinho-esque touch before placing his shot beyond Pavlenka. That's 18 Bundesliga goals for the season for the Pole - in just 15 matches.
66'

COUTINHO, TAKE A BOW!

This is why they call him 'the Magician'. Coutinho controls a pin-point ball over the top of the Bremen defence with his studs. Then, with his second touch, nonchalantly sends a no-look lob over the despairing Pavlenka. Coolness personified, and a contender for Goal of the Season.
58'

PERISIC!

Ivn Perisic is played in, but his first-time effort with the outside of his weaker right foot is comfortably off target. Florian Kohfeldt is not happy with the way Werder allowed the Croatia international in, there.
52'

BAYERN CHANGE

Hansi Flick hooked Jerome Boateng at the break. He was on a yellow, and struggled to contain Bremen goalscorer Rashica in the first half. Ivan Perisic is on, with Joshua Kimmich reverting to right-back and Benjamin Pavard moving into the middle.
51'

COUTINHO!

Lewandowski returns the favour, but Coutinho can't steer his effort past Pavlenka. Crucial save from the Bremen No.1. That would have been curtains for the visitors.

COUTINHO THE KEY

Bayern fell behind to a brilliantly taken Rashica goal, but roared back and deserve to be in front at the break. Coutinho scored the equaliser before teeing up Lewandowski moments later for 2-1. Bayern might have had more but for Pavlenka.

LEWANDOWSKI!

Normal service resumed at the Allianz Arena. Coutinho is surrounded by black shirts, but somehow digs out an audacious chipped pass with his left foot for the run of Lewandowski. He's under pressure, but fires through the legs of Pavlenka for his first league goal since Matchday 11. What a response

COUTINHO LEVELS!

Great time for Bayern to score, and you have to say, it has been coming. Kimmich clips a brilliant pass over the top for the run of Gnabry. He gets a toe on it as Pavlenka attempts to close the angle, and Coutinho is on hand to apply the finish at the back post.
43'

BAYERN PUSHING

There's more urgency about Bayern's play as Davies shifts the ball inside to Goretzka. He takes aim from the edge of the box, but a deflection takes it wide for a corner. Pavlenka punches clear Kimmich's ensuing delivery.
40'

DOUBLE CHANCE!

A Bremen shirt accidentally feeds Lewandowski, but he goes for precision over power and Pavlenka sticks out a hand to make the stop. Philippe Coutinho collects the loose ball and rifles goalwards... Pavlenka dives full-stretch to beat it away.
36'

RASHICA AGAIN!

Bremen play Rashica in one-on-one with Boateng once more. He shifts inside with ease, but his snap-shot from inside the box sails over. He'll get more chances, at this rate.
33'

WIDE THREAT

Lewandowski applauds the idea as Pavard whips a telling ball across the six-yard box and behind for a goal-kick. Lewandowski was at full-stretch, but you could see what the Frenchman had in his mind. Bayern's best openings have come off the flanks.
29'

ROCKET MAN

Rashica's in again, but the ball's on his left side when he gets into the box before losing his footing under pressure from Boateng and Pavard. No doubt about Bremen's game plan...
24'

RASHICA!!!!

And there you have it. Rashica is the only player in the Bayern half when he shows Boateng one way and then the other before unleashing a ferocious drive from 20 yards that not even two Manuel Neuers would have stopped. It's against the run of play, but Werder won't care one bit.

YELLOW PERIL

Bayern are controlling proceedings, but have been caught out by a couple of lightning Werder forays. Pavard and Boateng have already gone into the referee's little black book for late challenges - they'll have to be careful for the remainder...
15'

LEWANDOWSKI!

Pavlenka rides to Bremen's rescue once again to keep out Lewandowski's goal-bound header. Werder have already conceded a hatful of goals from crosses this season, and will have to seriously up there game if they're to keep Bayern quiet. The defending champions are really up for this!
12'

GNABRY DENIED!

Brilliant from Bayern as Davies lays the ball off to Lewandowski in the left-wing position. He comes over all Thiago and pings a peach of a cross-field ball onto the boot of Gnabry, whose cushioned delivery is pounced on by Pavlenka, with red shirts following in.
10'

LEWANDOWSKI!

Jiri Pavlenka beats away a curling strike from Robert Lewandowski. Bayern come again through Davies, but his cross is a couple of inches ahead of Lewandowski, allowing Pavlenka to make the stop. Phonzy is causing the visitors some real problems.
10'

RASHICA THROUGH!

Bremen exploit Bayern's high defensive line as Milot Rashica races through on goal. He cuts inside with a cute flick, but Jerome Boateng races back to pluck the ball away before the Werder top scorer can pull the trigger.
6'

GNABRY HEADS OVER!

Davies breezes away down the left, but overhits his cross. Benjamin Pavard collects on the oppositive flank and returns with interest, but Serge Gnabry is underneath it and sends his header over. It's all Bayern.
2'

COUTINHO IN OFF THE LEFT

We saw a lot of Coutinho cutting in off the left to shoot against Spurs. He's at it again inside the opening two minutes, collecting a cut-back from Alphonso Davies and curling over from range. His confidence is on the up.
Kick-off!

THE TEAMS ARE OUT

Kick-off in the North-South derby is upon us. These two German powerhouses have won 33 Bundesliga titles between them.

LEWANDOWSKI LEAN SPELL

Robert Lewandowski scoed 16 goals across his first 11 league matches of the season, but has gone three without finding the net since. Will the man who usurped Pizarro as the Bundesliga's record non-German goalscorer just last season break the cycle at the Allianz Arena today?

PIZA DELIVERY

You can't talk about Bayern-Bremen without mentioning Claudio Pizarro. The 41-year-old Werder striker enjoyed two stints at Bayern. He scored 71 goals and won Bundesliga-DFB Cup doubles in 2003, 2005 and 2006 in his first, and added a further 16 Bundesliga goals whilst claiming a raft of domestic trophies as well as the UEFA Champions League in his second. Piza, who is enjoying his fourth and final spell at Bremen, is on the bench today. He is yet to fire in 10 substitute outings this season, but remains the Bundesliga's oldest goalscorer.

BACKYARD BABIES

Joining Sven Ulreich, Perisic and Müller on the Bayern bench are Sarpreet Singh, Lukas Mai, Oliver Batista Meier and Joshua Zirkzee. Only Mai has played in the Bundesliga before (twice), while Singh is the only non-teenaged member of the fresh-faced supporting cast in question. Singh, Batista Meier and Zirkzee were promoted to the first team on a full-time basis just three weeks ago.

MORE ON THAT BAYERN TEAM

Hansi Flick makes three changes to the side that beat Tottenham Hotspur 3-1 in their final UEFA Champions League group game in midweek. Robert Lewandowski, David Alaba and Leon Goretzka come in at the expense of Ivan Perisic (bench), Javi Martinez (suspended) and Kingsley Coman (injured). Philippe Coutinho retains his place, meanwhile, with Thomas Müller the most experienced member among a very youthful bench.

MORE ON THAT BREMEN TEAM

Bremen captain Niklas Moisander will be a big miss for Bremen. The defender only returned from a 10-match absence in last weekend's 1-0 defeat to Paderborn, but doesn't make the squad today. Christian Groß is recalled in his stead, while Michael Lang comes into the midfield at the expense of Leonardo Bittencourt, who's only fit enough for a place on the bench. Nuri Sahin replaces the injured Philipp Bargfrede.
