Schalke striker Simon Terodde has equalled the all-time scoring record of 153 goals in Bundesliga 2.
The 33-year-old has been in astonishing form this season since joining the Royal Blues from league rivals Hamburg over the summer, and has now found the net 11 times in nine appearances in 2021/22.
The milestone strike came in Schalke's Matchday 9 victory at home to Ingolstadt. Efforts from Marius Bülter and Can Aydin had put coach Dimitrios Grammozis' side in the driving seat, before Terodde pounced in the 77th minute to seal a 3-0 triumph.
In doing so he pulled level with former Hannover striker Dieter Schatzschneider on 153 Bundesliga 2 goals, a best-mark that has stood since 1990.
Terodde registered 24 of those for Hamburg last season, as well as 29 for Cologne (2018/19), 25 for VfB Stuttgart (2016/17), 41 for Bochum (2014-2016) and 23 for Union Berlin (2011-2014).
