Edin Džeko voted best Bundesliga 2 transfer of the winter window!
Bundesliga app users have voted Edin Džeko's free transfer to Schalke as the best bit of Bundesliga 2 business of the recently closed winter transfer window.
Džeko has long been regarded as one of the best finishers in the business. The Bosnia-Herzegovina international striker famously helped Wolfsburg win the Bundesliga title in 2009, before repeating the trick in the colours of Manchester City.
The goals and accolades continued to flow in Italy and Türkiye, and he's still delivering the goods at the ripe old age of 39 at new employers Schalke. Three games into his first spell in Bundesliga 2, he's already scored three goals.
