Another familiar face
Julian Justvan's first 96 Bundesliga 2 appearances came in Paderborn colours between 2020 and 2023. The attacking midfielder scored eight goals for the club before joining Hoffenheim in 2023.
Grimaldi returns
Nuremberg forward Adriano Grimaldi was on target for Paderborn in the last two meetings between these sides at the Home Deluxe Arena. The 34-year-old netted a consolation in Paderborn's 3-1 defeat in November 2024, before opening the scoring in a 3-2 victory 12 months later. Grimaldi was also sent off in that five goal thriller.
