Joel Grodowski fired Preußen Münster to Bundesliga 2 in 2023/24 with 17 goals. However, in the first half of the 2024/25 season, he managed only one goal in 15 second-tier matches, so Grodowski transferred to Bielefeld during the winter break and achieved promotion with Arminia as well.

Good omen for DSC?

Arminia have not lost any of their last seven competitive home matches against Münster (three wins, four draws), with the Eagles' last away win at Bielefeld dating back almost 32 years (3-0 in the Oberliga in February 1994).
