Fans, clubs and experts have the opportunity between 17 April (from 19:00 CEST) and 22 April (09:00 CEST) to vote for their Team of the Season - consisting of a goalkeeper, four defenders, three midfielders and three attackers. The votes of the fans have a 40% weighting in the final results, with those from clubs and experts counting for 30% each. Fans can also vote for the Player of the Season at the same time.

Available for selection are five goalkeepers, 10 defenders, 15 midfielders and 10 attackers, who have made the shortlist due to their performance on official Bundesliga statistics. All winners of the Player of the Month award in 2023/24 are automatically among the nominees.

Goalkeepers

Gregor Kobel (Borussia Dortmund)

The Dortmund goalkeeper has enjoyed a glorious 2023/24 season, stopping three out of every four shots on his goal on average to prevent more opposing strikes than any other Bundesliga goalkeeper by some distance, according to the stats.

Oliver Baumann (Hoffenheim)

The Hoffenheim goalkeeper was tested more than any other Bundesliga shot-stopper, but he has continually come up trumps, saving more shots than anyone else. 

Lukáš Hrádecký (Bayer Leverkusen)

No goalkeeper has kept as many clean sheets as the captain of the new Bundesliga champions - Hrádecký has also saved a higher percentage of the shots he has faced than any other keeper. 

Alexander Nübel (VfB Stuttgart)

Nübel has kept the second-most clean sheets and provided a key pillar for surprise package Stuttgart, who rose from relegation candidates in the previous campaign to launch a sensational bid for European qualification.

Manuel Neuer (Bayern Munich)

The Bayern captain had to sit out so much of the season with injury but then reminded us all of his value - Neuer remains one of the best in the business with the ball at his feet.

Defenders

Alejandro Grimaldo (Bayer Leverkusen)

The left-back's inch-perfect crosses have seen him become the Bundesliga's top assist provider, and he is not afraid to find the net himself either. His devilish free-kicks and testing long-range efforts have seen him record more goal involvements than anyone else at champions Leverkusen. 

Jeremie Frimpong (Bayer Leverkusen)

The right wing-back has continually charged behind opposition defences to spearhead attacks. He has the second most sprints of the Bundesliga season and has helped his side's title charge with his most prolific campaign yet for goal involvements.

Jonathan Tah (Bayer Leverkusen)

Leverkusen's defensive supremo has organised the title-winning backline superbly and has been a permanent feature of the league's meanest defence amid changing faces alongside him. Tah is extremely comfortable on the ball too, hitting a higher proportion of passes to a team-mate than any other Bundesliga player, while also scoring four goals. 

David Raum (RB Leipzig)

Raum is German for space, and fittingly the left-back likes launching the ball like nobody else - hitting more crosses than any other Bundesliga player and notching up the second-most assists at Leipzig. 

Benjamin Henrichs (RB Leipzig)

Henrichs has one of the best challenging figures among full-backs - and regularly poses a threat in attack too as a frequent assist provider.

Mohamed Simakan (RB Leipzig)

The versatile defender can be deployed on the right or in the centre of the Leizpig backline and is a dependable, tough-tackling battler. 

Waldemar Anton (VfB Stuttgart)

The centre-back has been a focal point of surprise package of the season Stuttgart - clocking up more playing time than any other outfield player. He has run more than any of his team-mates, in fact all the way into the German national team. 

Maximilian Mittelstädt (VfB Stuttgart)

He started the season on the bench before becoming one of the key pillars of Stuttgart's rise. The former Hertha Berlin man has shown his strong passing ability and has crossed more than any team-mate, while also forcing his way into the Germany team. 

Mitchell Weiser (Werder Bremen)

The wing-back is the heart of Bremen's attacking endeavours and has become the top assist provider at the club. He has also shown a goal threat, setting a new personal best for goals in a season. 

Nico Schlotterbeck (Borussia Dortmund)

The centre-back has spent more time on the pitch than any other Dortmund player and has proven to be a real defensive dynamite - winning a higher proportion of challenges than any other Bundesliga player.

Midfielders

Florian Wirtz (Bayer Leverkusen)

The playmaker extraordinaire keeps on surprising with his impressive dribbles and near-impossible passes. Wirtz has set a new personal best this season for goals and assists. He scored a memorable hat-trick as Leverkusen sealed their historic first title against Werder Bremen and is one of the leading assist providers in the Bundesliga. 

Exequiel Palacios (Bayer Leverkusen)

The 2022 World Cup winner has shone thanks to his composed playing style and key last-minute goals against Bayern and Augsburg. He has enjoyed his best Bundesliga season so far for goal involvements.

Granit Xhaka (Bayer Leverkusen)

The beating heart of the champions - Xhaka comfortably had more touches on the ball than any other Bundesliga player and has the best passing figures in the league. The midfield composer has also covered more ground than anyone else and boasts the best performance under opposition pressure. 

Jamal Musiala (Bayern Munich)

Bayern's superb talent is the biggest midfield goal threat in the Bundesliga and one of the top players at Bayern for goal involvements. Magic Musiala has enchanted fans this season with his breathtaking dribbling ability.

Leroy Sané (Bayern Munich)

The pacy dribbler is one of the top assist providers in the league and has developed a near-telepathic understanding with Harry Kane.  Sané is second on the list of goal involvements at Bayern behind the strike star. 

Xavi (RB Leipzig)

The Dutchman has followed a great season in the Eredivisie with an even better one in the Bundesliga. Xavi has been an attacking fulcrum for Leipzig from the very start of the campaign and is their top assist provider. 

Jan-Niklas Beste (Heidenheim)

The left-winger is the top assist provider at newly promoted Heidenheim. That coupled with his superb set-piece taking has seen him gain a place in the Germany team.

Eren Dinkçi (Heidenheim)

Speed, speed and more speed. Dinkçi is the fastest of the lot in the Bundesliga this season, with a top speed of 36.4 km/h, and he is one of the most dangerous attackers when it comes to shooting efficiency. 

Julian Brandt (Borussia Dortmund)

Brandt is a versatile attacker but has made a central playmaking position his own this season, becoming one of the best assist providers in the Bundesliga and one of the players with the most goal involvements at Dortmund. 

Donyell Malen (Borussia Dortmund)

The winger often found on the right has set a new personal best for goals this season and has been one of the top finishers for Dortmund.

Chris Führich (VfB Stuttgart)

The creative mastermind in the Stuttgart attack has played his way into the German national team. He has created lots of chances in sensational style and has more goal involvements than anyone in Stuttgart apart from the prolific front two.

Enzo Millot (VfB Stuttgart)

The young Frenchman has provided a key element to Stuttgart's superb attack - whether playing in attacking midfield, right wing or in defensive midfield. His work off the ball is important too, as he has contested the second-most challanges of all at his club.

Franck Honorat (Borussia Mönchengladbach)

Honorat is the top assist provider and has the most goal involvements at Gladbach. He is among the players to have created the most shots in the Bundesliga. 

Vincenzo Grifo (Freiburg)

The Italian is top scorer and top assist provider at the Black Forest side. Grifo is also known for his set-piece expertise, above all.  

Kevin Stöger (Bochum)

He makes little Bochum a big threat. Stöger has set up more shots than anyone else in the league with his great passing ability - and has more assists and goal involvements than anyone else at his side.

Attackers

Harry Kane (Bayern Munich)

Few other attackers have ever come close to matching the impact of King Kane on the Bundesliga. The Munich marksman has smashed in goal after goal, surely securing the top scorer's honour and threatening Robert Lewandowski's all-time record. Whether it is goals, shots or expected goals - Kane is top of the pack everywhere you look.

Serhou Guirassy (VfB Stuttgart)

He shoots and he scores - Super Serhou can do it like barely anyone else. He may not be able to quite match the freakish pace of Harry Kane, but Guirassy is the proud bearer of a new Stuttgart scoring record and boasts the best shooting conversion rate in the Bundesliga. 

Deniz Undav (VfB Stuttgart)

Undav is a classic all-round striker - he is one of the most prolific Stuttgart players both in terms of goals and assists. As the highest-scoring German in the Bundesliga, he earned himself a call-up to the Germany team.

Loïs Openda (RB Leipzig)

The Belgian is already the second highest scorer in Bundesliga history for Leipzig, despite not yet completing his first season. Openda has hit the second most shots in the league and also boasts the second-highest expected goals figure.

Ermedin Demirović (Augsburg)

Having been named captain in the summer, Demirović has set a new club record for goals in a season - he is top goalscorer at Augsburg as well as being top assist provider. 

Victor Boniface (Bayer Leverkusen)

If he hadn't been injured in preparing for the AFCON, Leverkusen's lead striker would have made an even bigger splash this season. He remains top scorer at the champions despite missing 11 matches due to injury - and is a bona fide attacking livewire.

Omar Marmoush (Eintracht Frankfurt)

The former winger became a true centre-forward at Frankfurt. He is the top scorer for Eintracht, as well as being their top assist provider and fastest player with a speed of 35.8 km/h.

Niclas Füllkrug (Borussia Dortmund)

Füllkrug has scored around one of every four shots this season. He has been extremely important for his side as top scorer, but also for his hold-up play. 

Jonas Wind (Wolfsburg)

The Dane is extremely important for the Wolves, scoring the most goals and setting up the most strikes for them too. 

Marvin Ducksch (Werder Bremen)

Marvin Ducksch is the centre of so much of Bremen's attacking – he has shot the most, set up the most shots and is the side's top scorer and top player for goal involvements.
