The 18-year-old took responsibility and converted coolly for his first goal for Elversberg.

The favourite of HSV fans is now becoming the celebrated Elversberg player. Recently in Braunschweig as a substitute he provided two assists while now in his second appearance for Elversberg he has his first goal. He also scored twice for HSV in Bundesliga 2.

That's Elversberg's first penalty award of this season. Of the eleven Elversberg players on the pitch, none had ever taken a penalty in Bundesliga 2.

Otto Stange drives the ball firmly into the bottom right corner to make it 1-0. Krumrey gets to the corner but can't save the powerful shot.

Conté drives into the penalty area after a one-two, wants to shoot and is sandwiched between two Kiel players. Referee Wagner immediately points to the spot.

Since the 79th minute, it's been 6-1 in terms of shots on goal for Elversberg. Willthey score very late again?

For a dive. The Elversberg player goes down in a challenge in the penalty area.

Elversberg counter-attack down the left. Conté breaks through but can't deliver the pass into the middle.

A huge opportunity, and a double one at that. After a corner from the left, the ball comes to Ebnoutalib, who volleys it from just seven metres out - but Krumrey manages to save. The ball is still live and falls to Conté, who immediately volleys with his right foot from five metres out in the centre - this time Johansson is on the goal line and clears it with his head.

Florian Le Joncour hammers a cleared ball from 28 metres straight away - and sends it into the stands.

Will Elversberg remain goalless in their third home match against the Storks? In March 2024, they lost 0-2 in the 2. Bundesliga, and in March 2014, there was a 0-0 draw in the 3. Liga.

Wagner shuffles his team considerably with three new players.

Maximilian Rohr has won an exceptionally good 80 percent of his 15 duels so far.

Conté crosses from the right corner of the penalty area with his left foot, curling the ball into the six-yard box. But again, no one gets to the ball.

Condé brings down Bernhardsson from behind and is booked. That's his third caution of the season.

Ebnoutalib has only been on the ball five times, hasn't had a shot on goal and has won only 25 percent of his duels - after his performances in recent weeks, the opponents are obviously keeping a particularly close eye on him.

Keidel sends Conté through on the left side of the penalty area. His shot is blocked for a corner.

The Elversberg counter-attack is becoming more dangerous. Zimmerscheid breaks through, passes into the middle where Petkov shoots from eleven metres out. His effort hits an opponent.

Condé strongly asserts himself in the penalty area with a good body feint, then passes sharply back to the middle. There, the ball bounces a bit too far from Zimmerschied's foot as he tries to shoot from 14 metres out in a central position. He can't connect properly and the ball goes wide.

Free kick for Elversberg to the left of the penalty area. Zimmerschied curls the ball with his right foot directly towards the goal. It's difficult for Krumrey to see, but he makes a strong save.

Lukas Petkov gets past his opponent on the right with a step-over, then crosses at chest height into the middle. Krumrey has it safely in his hands.

Keidel first tries with a long throw-in from the left into the penalty area. The ball comes back to him. Then he crosses with his right foot. But that is also headed away by a Kiel player.

The home team have been the dominant side in the opening phase. But Kiel are pressing back, trying to disrupt the hosts in their own half.

Amara Condé has taken over the captain's armband from Lukas Pinckert, who is leading Elversberg onto the pitch for the first time. Being a captain in Bundesliga 2 is not new territory for him as he wore the armband in 50 second-tier matches at Magdeburg.
