Simon Asta tore his cruciate ligament on Matchday 3 in Elversberg and has worked his way back through short appearances since February and today is allowed to start for the first time since August 2025. Joly was brought in at that time as a reaction to Asta's injury.

Another Kaiserslautern lesson from Schuler

Luca Schuler has scored five times in his last three matches against Kaiserslautern. He netted the only goal in the reverse fixture and also struck twice in both the 6-1 cup victory in December and last season's 4-3 win at the Betzenberg.
