Corner kick from the right side
Lautern take the set piece short, but in the end, the ball is floated high into the penalty area. Schuhen is on the spot and punches the ball away with one fist.
84'
The fans are celebrating
The spectators are already in a celebratory mood. Logical, as the Lilies won't be giving up this three-goal advantage this evening.
81'
The match is slowly winding down
With just under ten minutes to go, both teams seem to be slowly accepting the result. Lautern are simply not making an impact up front and are rarely posing any goal threat.
78'
Hornby misses another chance for his brace
The striker wins the ball on the left side and then bursts into the box with pace. He tries his luck from a tight angle, but Krahl is there once again and saves at the near post.
77'
No reward
Lautern are now slightly ahead on possession, but the visitors are yet to reap any rewards from it. Lautern remain ineffective in attack.

Berisha fire wide
The striker is positioned on the left side of the penalty area with his back to goal. He turns and looks for a shot from just inside the box. His attempt goes comfortably wide of the left post.
73'
Double substitution for the home team
Corredor and Schmidt come on for Richter and Akiyama. These are like-for-like changes.
72'
Akiyama sits on the pitch
The Japanese player sits down on the ground and requires treatment.
70'
The final phase is slowly approaching
Around 20 minutes of regular time remain, and at the moment, there's not much to suggest the visitors are going to mount a comeback. Darmstadt are managing their comfortable three-goal advantage confidently and keeping things tight at the back.
69'
Lautern taking more risks
The visitors are now positioned higher up the pitch and pressing earlier. This hasn't led to a goal yet, and it naturally opens up spaces for Darmstadt to counter-attack.
68'
Schuhen with the foot
Bassette gets a shot away from the right side of the penalty area, Schuhen is alert and makes a confident save with his foot.
65'
Nürnberger down in the box
The left-back bursts with pace into the left side of the penalty area and then goes down under a challenge from Redondo. Osmers allows play to continue, and VAR doesn't intervene either.
64'
Double substitution for SVD
Papela and Vukotić replace Lakenmacher and Pfeiffer. That's a midfielder and a defender on for a striker and a centre-back.
62'
Harmless
Skyttä cuts in from the right and looks for a shot from the edge of the box. His effort goes comfortably over the top left corner.

60'
Akiyama with the chance
Krahl is there again! Richter plays a good ball through on the left outside the box for Akiyama, who finds himself free in front of Krahl and fails to score from a tight angle at the near post as Krahl rushes out. The Red Devils' keeper has clearly been Lautern's best player this evening.
59'
Darmstadt proving more effective
Both clubs have recorded a total of eight shots on goal, but Darmstadt have been more clinical and have already put the ball in the back of the net three times.

57'
Triple substitution Lautern
Redondo, Berisha and Asta come on for Joly, Hanslik and Kunze. Lieberknecht is definitely looking for an improvement.
55'
Lakenmacher can't cause Krahl problems
After a cross from the left, there's chaos in the FCK penalty area, allowing Lakenmacher to get his head to the ball from a few yards out at the far post. However, the striker can't direct the ball properly. In the end, Krahl collects the ball comfortably.
54'
FCK aren't giving up
The visitors have been much improved since the break.
53'
Krahl is there
Nearly 4-0! Hornby suddenly finds himself free on the left side of the penalty area with only Krahl to beat, but the keeper comes out and narrows the angle well. So Hornby only hits the goalkeeper from a few yards out and misses the chance for a brace.
Time to celebrate

0:22
Schuhen all over the place
49'
Wide right
FCK get forward through Bassette, who came on at half-time. He has a shot from the left edge of the penalty area, aiming for the bottom right corner. The attempt goes about two metres wide of the post.
48'
Richter is the pivot point
With his assist for 3-0, Richter is now the top provider for the Lilies. He already has seven assists to his name, with only Hertha's Reese doing better across the league.
46'
The second half is underway
Osmers blows the whistle for the second half. The Lilies continue without any personnel changes for now.

40'
Five minutes to go
The first half is slowly coming to an end. Can the Red Devils score before the break to pull one back?
38'
Marseiler gets stuck
The Darmstadt player wants to get past Joly on the left side of the box near the byline, but he is dispossessed by the defender and even commits an offensive foul afterwards. That's the end of the attack.
35'
And another yellow card
Gyamfi steps on Lakenmacher's heel from behind. The striker subsequently falls to the ground and requires treatment, while the Lautern player receives a booking for his offence.
33'
Too high
Richter tries his luck from a free-kick, but misses the target by a few yards.
33'
Marseiler brilliant
The Darmstadt player dances past Chernev, who then has no choice but to commit a foul just outside the penalty area on the left.
32'
More than half an hour gone
After a little more than 30 minutes played, FCK now face a mammoth task and have a mountain to climb. However, there are still 60 minutes on the clock to stage a comeback.

0:17
Darmstadt double their lead
28'
Lakenmacher has a go
The striker shields the ball effectively against Şahin and shoots from distance. However, his attempt ends up in row Z.
27'
Darmstadt building up calmly
The Lilies are drawing out the visitors and circulating the ball well through their own ranks at the back. Currently not much is happening on either side in terms of forward play.
25'
The next corner
Şahin delivers the ball with curl from the left high into the middle again; once more, the cross poses no goal threat whatsoever. Pfeiffer stays alert and clears with his head at the far post for another corner kick. The set piece from the other side ultimately comes to nothing as well.
23'
Free kick from the left
Sirch steps up to take a free kick from the edge of the box on the left side, but he blasts the ball dismally into the wall.
22'
Poor ball
Sirch plays the ball low from the half-right position towards the middle, but the cross fizzles out and ends up with the Darmstadt defence.
21'
Lautern struggling offensively
The xGoals show that Lautern aren't posing any goal threat whatsoever. FCK must produce significantly more.

Intense duel
Both teams are giving absolutely everything. So far, it's been a very good match.
15'
Another Yellow Card
Maglica steps fully on Skyttä's foot from behind in midfield. Osmers shows the yellow card once again.
15'
Corner from the left
Şahin delivers the ball with curl high into the middle, but the ball sails past friend and foe and poses no danger.
14'
Schuhen secure
Haas crosses the ball from the left at full pace towards the centre, Schuhen is alert and plucks the delivery securely out of the air.
13'
High tempo
The pace in this opening phase is enormously high, particularly SVD are really turning up the heat.
11'
Darmstadt pressing early
The hosts are positioned high up the pitch and putting pressure on Lautern directly in their build-up play. It's having an effect, as FCK are struggling to get out of their own half.
9'
Hornby fires over
The following free kick from the left half-space ends up being extremely dangerous. Pfeiffer cleverly heads the delivery back towards Hornby in the penalty area. The striker takes a first-time shot from a central position, but Krahl manages to tip the bouncing ball, which is too central, over the crossbar. The subsequent corner from the right side comes to nothing.
8'
First yellow card of the match
Kunze rushes after Marseiler in midfield and pulls the speedy winger down by his shirt. He receives a yellow card for the tactical foul.
7'
How will FCK react?
This early deficit is, of course, a nightmare from the visitors' perspective, but there is still enough time on the clock to turn the tide here.

We're back underway
Osmers restarts the match, the ball is rolling again.
3'
The match is suspended
Smoke clouds drift across the pitch, Osmers subsequently suspends the game.
2'
The first foul straight away
Chernev immediately goes in hard on Lakenmacher and brings the Darmstadt player down. Osmers refrains from issuing a very early booking.
1'
The match is underway
Referee Osmers blows the whistle to start the match, the ball is rolling. The visitors kick off and are playing in black shirts, while the hosts are in blue jerseys.
キックオフ
Kick-off shortly
The two teams, led by referee Osmers, are entering the pitch. The ball will be rolling in just a few moments.
Missing goalscorers
The absence of FCK's top scorer Ivan Prtajin had already been confirmed a week ago, while on the other side Isac Lidberg also had to withdraw from the Lilies' squad due to thigh problems.
Late turnaround in first match
In the previous encounter in August, Darmstadt led 1-0 until the 84th minute, but Kaiserslautern remarkably scored three times in the closing stages (twice in stoppage time) to hand their opponents one of just two defeats they have suffered this campaign. Can the Hessians get their revenge today?
Table talk: Lilies could go top
After the afternoon results saw Elversberg and Schalke both drop points, Darmstadt would leapfrog them and take first place with a home win over FCK this evening.
Four changes for the Red Devils
Coach Torsten Lieberknecht makes four changes to his starting eleven following the 3-1 defeat against SV Elversberg. Kunze, Şahin, Rasmussen and Hanslik start in place of Robinson (suspended), Ritter, Bassette (both on the bench) and Prtajin (ruptured Achilles tendon).
Two changes for the Lilies
Manager Florian Kohfeldt makes two changes to his starting eleven following the 2-2 draw against Hertha BSC. Klefisch and Lakenmacher start in place of Niklas Schmidt (bench) and Isac Lidberg (not in the squad).

(Un-) pleasant memories
The Red Devils' last and only away win at Darmstadt happened eight years ago under special circumstances. On 24th January 2018, the match was abandoned at 0-0 because Lautern coach Jeff Strasser had to be taken to hospital. On 21st February 2018, the match was replayed, with Kaiserslautern winning 2-1.
