Keller gets physical
The defender chases down Corboz on the right side in front of his own box and brings the Bielefeld player down from behind. This results in a free-kick, but it poses no danger.

Lots of battling
Currently, much of the action is taking place in midfield and therefore between the two penalty areas. It remains overall a very sluggish fare this afternoon.

Too few ideas
Both sides are lacking the necessary creativity in the final third. Only rarely do the players of both teams have any spark of inspiration.

Quarter of an hour gone
So far it's a very balanced match, both teams are largely neutralising each other and meeting on equal terms. Clear-cut chances are still in short supply; you can sense the pressure on both clubs.
13'
No rush
Dynamo are patient with their build-up, playing it calmly from the back. Bielefeld are only engaging their press on the halfway line.
11'
Great atmosphere
The Dresden fans are creating a magnificent atmosphere here.
8'
Ceka with the chance to take the lead
It's all happening in the Bielefeld penalty area! Ceka lurks near the penalty spot, shooting immediately. He aims for the bottom right corner, but Kersken stretches and just manages to claw the ball out of the corner with his fingertips.
7'
Inaccurate
Ceka crosses the ball from the right side, but the delivery is too long and flies past both teammates and opposition in the middle.
5'
First shot of the match
Telalović gets to the ball rather fortuitously on the right side of the penalty area and takes a shot from about 13 metres. He aims for the bottom left corner, but the ball goes wide of the goal.
4'
Cautious start
Both teams are feeling each other out in these opening minutes and are avoiding taking risks going forward.

Mitch Kniat on facing Dresden
"I've never won in Dresden, but that means nothing to me. It's a completely new match. Dresden have had similar problems to us, which is normal for a newly promoted team. They've gone back to their old system and made moves in the transfer market. Their new signings have delivered immediately."

Thomas Stamm on facing Bielefeld
"Bielefeld are a very flexible side. We're going to have to give everything we've got against them, just like in the first half of the season [when Dynamo triumphed 2-1]. We want to turn the game in our favour by playing with confidence."
Bogey team
Mitch Kniat's debut as Arminia coach was a 3-1 defeat in Dresden on 5 August 2023. In charge of both Bielefeld and Verl, he has only managed to get one point in seven competitive matches against Dynamo.
Different league, different game
Arminia last won against Dynamo in the 2019/20 season, doing the double over the Dresden side with a 4-0 home win and a 1-0 away victory. What's more, Bielefeld have also never lost in Dresden in Bundesliga 2.
