Half-time: Dynamo 0-2 Eintracht
The home side are playing too many misplaced passes in the opposition half to develop any real threat. Braunschweig are defensively solid and are creating numerous counter-attacks through their speedster Conteh down the left. Dynamo are defending too loosely and will need to significantly improve in the second 45 minutes if they want to take anything from this match.

Almost 3-0

Tight affair
Dresden and Braunschweig are among the bottom five in the table, separated by just one point. With a win, Dynamo would overtake the visitors and move out of the direct relegation places.
Captain's return
Sven Köhler, who missed the last two matches through suspension and illness returns, replacing Lukas Frenkert, who is suspended following a red card. Also new to the Eintracht team is Leon Bell Bell, who plays in place of Sidney Raebiger.
Dynamo switch
Only one change for Dynamo after the 3-1 loss at Kaiserslautern. Vinko Sapina replaces Luca Herrmann in midfield. Captain Niklas Hauptmann is back in the squad, but not yet fit enough for the starting XI. Christoph Daferner remains absent.

The last time both clubs met in Dresden was on Matchday 29 of the 2017/18 Bundesliga 2 season. That encounter ended in a 1-1 draw, with Philipp Hofmann levelling after Haris Duljevic opened the scoring for Dynamo.
