Full-time: Cottbus 3-4 Fürth

A seven-goal thriller at the Stadion der Freundschaft, where it's Fürth who come away with all three points. The visitors turned the game around less than a minute into the second half. Cottbus did pull level through Ciğerci, but Pohlmann immediately restored the lead. Klaus seemed to have sealed the win with his second goal of the day, but Bodganov pulled one back. In the end, it wasn't enough and Fürth can celebrate.

Watch: Bielefeld 3-0 Cottbus - last time out

Cottbus were unable to build on the euphoria of their 3-1 opening-day win over Hannover in Bielefeld. They also lost 2-0 to Augsburg in the first round of the DFB Cup, despite an encouraging display against their Bundesliga opponents.

Cottbus 0-6 Fürth - previous meeting

These sides last met way back in 2013/14, when the Clover Leaves claimed a thumping win on Matchday 33 in their promotion push, only to end up in the play-offs and miss out on a place in the Bundesliga on away goals against Hamburg.
