Rösler's history
Bochum's manager Uwe Rösler was relegated to the third division with Manchester City 1997/98 and then transferred to the reigning German champions Kaiserslautern – how times change! Rösler scored 13 goals in 37 competitive matches for his new club (three in the UEFA Champions League). On 20 March 1999, he netted the 2-1 winning goal against Bochum in the Bundesliga, from a Michael Ballack assist. As a head coach, meanwhile, Rösler won his only match against the Red Devils in February 2020 with Fortuna Düsseldorf in the DFB Cup.
