Hannover can make ground in promotion race
With Elversberg and Darmstadt playing tomorrow, Hannover can move ahead of them and climb to third place temporarily with a win.
Sissoko starts
In another change for Bochum, Sissoko moves into the starting XI. The Frenchman had been out for three months, and his playing time has been carefully managed of late. In the last away match in Fürth, he also started and scored twice.

A long time ago...
Bochum have played against no other team in Bundesliga 2 so often without ever winning. They last celebrated an away victory in Hannover some 16 years ago in the Bundesliga, on 19 December 2009, when the Ruhr club turned around a 2-0 half-time deficit to win 3-2.
Will there be an away win for the first time?
In the 14 Bundesliga 2 encounters between the two clubs, the away team has never won.
