Full-time: Magdeburg 3-3 Kiel
An incredible match has come to an end. In the end, Magdeburg and Kiel share the points with a fair 3-3 draw. Kiel took the lead, Magdeburg turned the game around, then Kiel levelled it again. Magdeburg fired themselves back ahead again, but Skrzybski produced another equaliser with an absolute wonder goal to tie up this six-goal thriller.

The home side won't stand for this and continue to apply pressure. Zukowski shoots from 25 yards out, but Krumrey is there.

Over the bar
Magdeburg continue to play fully on the front foot. Atik breaks through on the left, slots it across to Michel - but he shoots over.
89'
Yellow card for Müller
First he commits a foul, then he complains to the referee. That was too much and he is rightly cautioned for it.

Yellow card for Schwab
For a foul against Musonda on the right side of the penalty area.

Magdeburg retake the lead!
Zukowski steps up to take the penalty and smashes the ball into the net, just inside the post. Krumrey dives the right way but can't reach it. 3-2 to Magdeburg.
82'
The third penalty
Three penalties in one match had only occurred previously this season in the Paderborn-Bielefeld derby (two for Arminia, one for Paderborn).
81'
Yet another penalty!
But this time, it's for Magdeburg. Schwab rises high at the six-yard line, heading the ball away, but also catches Müller in the neck with his elbow. The referee punishes that immediately, pointing to the spot.
78'
Poked wide
Zukowski has the ball to the right of the penalty area. He feints, before playing it low towards the near post. Breunig is there and pokes the ball wide from three yards out.

Nothing happens
Corner for Kiel. The ball is headed out, played back in, then Reimann has it.
71'
Two penalties converted
No player in Bundesliga 2 has managed this before this season, although only Hannover's Tomiak stepped up to the spot twice in one match.

Two goals for Kiel

Two for two!
David Zec steps up again and converts again. This time, he shoots to the left, and Reimann dives to the right as the defender converts his second penalty of the game.

Another penalty for Kiel
That's bitter for Magdeburg. A shot from 22 yards zips into the penalty area. Harres touches the ball slightly, deflecting it minimally - and so the ball hits Marcus Mathisen's outstretched arm. The referee awards the spot-kick.

Corner
Back and forth in front of the Magdeburg penalty area, eventually the ball reaches Magnus Knudsen, who immediately shoots from 20 yards. It's deflected, resulting in a corner - without any notable outcome.

Crafty
From a free-kick for Magdeburg from the half-right position, Atik curls the ball directly towards the right corner of the goal, instead of crossing it. However, he doesn't manage to catch Krumrey by surprise with that attempt.
55'
So close again!
Another huge chance for Magdeburg. The ball is won in midfield. Somewhat fortuitously, it comes to Zukowski, who passes it on to Nollenberger on the left side of the penalty area. He shoots towards the right corner - but Krumrey gets his fingertips to the ball and manages to direct it narrowly past the post.

Premiere for Magdeburg
For the first time this season, Magdeburg go into the dressing room at half-time with a lead in a home match. Previously, they only managed this on Matchday 2 away in Dresden.

Half-time: Mageburg 2-1 Kiel
What an incredible last seven minutes with three goals. For 42 minutes, Magdeburg were clearly the better team, having more and better chances. Then, Kiel surprisingly took the lead through a penalty from David Zec. Nevertheless, the hosts immediately turned things around through Noah Pesch and Baris Atik. So it's Magdeburg who go into the break with a deserved 2-1 lead against Kiel.

Goal drought at an end
Baris Atik last scored his previous goal in April against Kaiserslautern, and had gone 19 matches - or 1,722 minutes - without finding the net since then. This season, he had been the league's most unsuccessful shooter this season with 25 shots without scoring, but today that's come to an end.

Magdeburg take the lead!
Unbelievable. Within three minutes, Magdeburg turn the match around. Musonda makes a strong run down the right flank, before delivering a brilliant cross into the six-yard box. Krumrey punches it away poorly, right to the feet of Atik, who improvises spectacularly to acrobatically score with a bicycle kick from 12 yards out. The ball somehow goes through six Kiel players on its way into the net.

Pesch with the quick response
After two substitute goals (one in the league in the 5-4 defeat to Fürth, one in the cup in Illertissen), Noah Pesch scores for the first time as a starter. He has a proven eye for goal too: last season, he played for Mönchengladbach's U23 in the Regionalliga, scoring 20 goals in 30 appearances.

Ever the entertainers
This is the 100th competitive match in a row that the Storks haven't played out a 0-0! The last time they drew goalless was 1001 days ago, in March 2023 against Hamburg.

Another conversion
That was Zec's first penalty in the league. However, in the penalty shootout against Hamburg in the cup, he stepped up as the first Kiel penalty taker and converted.

Penalty for Kiel!
Jonas Therkelsen strongly holds off Gnaka and shoots from 20 yards out. It's a brilliant low shot that Reimann can only just parry with his outstretched arm. Kaprálik races in for the follow-up and is knocked over from behind by Musonda. Referee Benen immediately points to the spot.
38'
Tight angle
A beautiful long ball finds Noah Pesch on the right side of the penalty area. He controls the ball near the byline and, from that difficult angle, tries a shot anyway, which hits the side netting at the near post.

Deflected
The next chance for the home side: Ulrich delivers the ball from the left, Zukowski lays it off and Pesch shoots from just inside the box, but a Kiel player gets in the way to take the sting out of the effort, allowing Krumrey to gather it safely.
27'
Wouldn't have stood
That could have been 1-0 for the visitors. A deep ball is played into the path of Harres, who takes it with his knee, finding himself alone in a central position front of goal. However, his effort sends from the edge of the box sends the ball narrowly wide of the right post. The goal wouldn't have counted anyway, as Harres was marginally offside.
25'
Kaprálik's hardly had a look-in
Kiel's offensive player has only been on the ball twice (the least of all 22 players). Hardly any passes are reaching the forwards for the Storks.
24'
Two bites of the cherry
Atik delivers the corner from the left into the six-yard box. Krumrey tries to catch it but drops the ball. A Kiel player manages to clear it, but the ball goes straight back to Atik on the left. His pass into the middle then results in a scramble, but no Magdeburg player can poke it home from nine yards.
22'
Not enough power behind it
Kiel counterattack quickly down the left-hand side. The pass comes into the middle to Harres, who immediately strikes from just outside the box with the instep of his right foot. But the shot is far too weak and poses no problem for Reimann.
21'
Strong defensive record
Magdeburg have now gone 200 minutes without conceding a goal.
20'
Too close to the keeper
Atik breaks through on the left and crosses. But it's an easy catch for Krumrey.
18'
Shot blocked
It's Ulrich again with the next chance for Magdeburg. He tries from just outside the box in a central position. However, a Kiel player throws himself in the way and blocks the shot.

Ulrich is found out on the left. He takes a step into the middle and curls the ball from 25 yards towards the top right corner, but misses it by a matter of inches! Great effort from the Magdeburg man.

Dangerous
Kiel attack down the left flank. The ball is played low into the six-yard box. There are two Kiel players against three Magdeburg defenders and a scramble ensues, but in the end, the ball rolls into the gloves of Reimann.
6'
Slow start
Whilst Magdeburg have been the more active of the sides, neither team is going full throttle yet.
3'
First corner
Musonda crosses from the right. The ball is headed upwards by a Kiel defender and goalkeeper Krumrey can only manage to catch it behind the line. Magdeburg have themselves a corner, but it doesn't produce anything tangible.
