Hamburg - Hamburger SV have been dealt yet another injury blow by losing to an ankle injury.

Injury problems

The 28-year-old left-back lasted just 24 minutes in Germany's on Wednesday after tearing ligaments in his right foot and has been ruled out of Hamburg's visit to Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday afternoon. "We're working on the premise that he'll be out for around six weeks," said HSV coach Mirko Slomka.

Jansen's loss compounds the club's personnel worries, with Pierre-Michel Lasogga, Slobodan Rajkovic and Maximilian Beister also unavailable for the Matchday 24 encounter, while Hakan Calhanoglu, Rafael van der Vaart, Petr Jiracek, Milan Badelj, Jaroslav Drobny, Zhi-Gin Lam and Ivo Ilicevic are all doubtful.
