Will that be the goal that secures Champions League football next season for the Black and Yellows? Brandt knocks the ball to the returning Marcel Sabitzer 20 yards out, and the Austrian slides a shot into the bottom left to grab his first goal of the season at an ideal time!

Some help from afar
Ansgar Knauff has equalised for Frankfurt in Freiburg. If that match remains level, any win for Dortmund here would send them into fourth.

All going well for Dortmund
With Freiburg and Frankfurt still 0-0, Dortmund would head up to fourth with a 1-0 win as things stand. Two more goals for the hosts without reply would make sure of it...

The returning midfielder takes aim from outside the area and forces Thomas Dähne to turn it behind with a flying save.

The relegated side can be pleased with how they have defended since going down to ten men, with Guirassy's penalty remaining Dortmund's only shot, despite their dominance.

Record breaking Kiel!
Kiel's expected attendance today of around 7, 800 fans will be the club's largest ever away crowd, an incredible effort! The journey is over 400km long, with Kiel lying in northern Germany, and Dortmund sitting in the west.
Fighting on all fronts
The BVB women's handball team will be playing for a spot in the German Championship final this evening, shortly after the conclusion of the game against Kiel. It could be a very successful day for the club in more than one way today!
Dortmund on the beach already?
Dortmund fans far and wide will be showing their support for their club in many different ways this afternoon, but it'll be hard to top this sand model of Signal Iduna Park from @maggachic!
One last step
Borussia Dortmund go into their final day fixture with it still all to play for - that being Champions League football, of course. Sat in 11th at the time of Niko Kovač's appointment, the Croatian has managed an incredible turnaround at Signal Iduna Park, guiding them to fifth and just one point behind fourth. Having scored a minimum of three goals in their last four games, BVB are in fine form as they approach today's grand finale, although they need other results to go their way too, if they're to achieve their goal. Kiel come into this game with their fate already sealed, having been relegated to the Bundesliga 2 at the end of Matchday 33. Despite this, Kiel have proven to be tough opponents on many occasions throughout 2024/25, and aren't bad going forward themselves.

Back at Borussia
Although Kiel are ending their first Bundesliga season, they have travelled to Singal Iduna Park once before - suffering a 5-0 defeat in the 2020/21 DFB Cup semi-finals. There were no spectators in the famous stadium that day though due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Away they go
Despite already suffering relegation, Kiel are bidding to become the 11th team in Bundesliga history to score in every single away match in a season. Seven of the 10 to have previously done that became champions.
Holstein holdouts
Dortmund have faced 55 sides in total in the Bundesliga and only one of those have their failed to beat - Kiel.
