BAYERN GO FIVE POINTS CLEAR

Now the Munich men can sit and watch how the game in Bremen unfolds, as Borussia Dortmund look to close the gap on the league leaders back to two points. Enough, in the end, from Bayern to see off Hannover with two huge games to play in Leipzig and at home to Frankfurt.

THREE MINUTES ADDED ON

We're into injury time here in Munich of which there will be three minutes.

MÜLLER FORCES ANOTHER SAVE

Robben almost claims an assist on his return as he heads the ball down into Müller's path in the box, but the German's volley is well saved by Esser.

HERE HE IS!

For the first time in over five months, Arjen Robben is back on the Allianz Arena pitch for Bayern. He comes on to replace Coman for what could be his final minutes in a Bayern shirt.
84'

RIBERY SLOTS HOME

A lovely pass from Coman plays Ribery in behind the Hannover defence from the left. He strolls into the box and puts the ball past Esser in style to surely seal all three points for Bayern in Munich.

MÜLLER HEADS JUST OVER

Thiago's corner is flicked towards goal by Müller from the near post, but it drifts just over the crossbar and lands on the roof of Esser's net.
76'

15 TO GO...

Bayern still well on top here and looking to add to their total, but Esser has only been forced into action once so far in this second half. As comfortable as they look, the scoreline does not make things easy for the home side with anything possible in the remaining time.
71'

BIG FRANCK IS ON

The Frenchman is on in place of Gnabry to give a burst of experience and (slightly) fresh legs.

FIRST AWAY GOAL IN MUNICH SINCE FEB

It has taken 565 minutes of Bundesliga football, but Bayern have finally conceded another goal at the Allianz Arena. The first since 9 February, against Schalke.
67'

HANNOVER LOOKING FOR THE COUNTER

The home side are dominating the ball since Hannover have gone down one man, but the away side are still pushing forward and looking to do so with speed when they have the ball. Maina and Haraguchi attempting to combine on the counter...
61'

ALABA FORCES A SAVE

The full-back goes for goal from all of 25 yards on his rocket left foot, but Esser is down well to parry the ball clear of the box with a good save. Bayern piling on the pressure now as they look to make sure Hannover can't snatch an equaliser.
57'

TOUGH TASK NOW...

A difficult task just got a lot harder for Hannover here, now that they have been reduced to ten men. Jonathas was first booked for a foul on Ulreich after scoring his penalty, and then for a foul on Kimmich.
55'

JONATHAS SENT OFF

The substitute is sent off after receiving his second yellow card.

JONATHAS SCORES THE PEN!

The substitute sends Ulreich the wrong way and has given Hannover hope in this second half. Can they go on and get another before Bayern kick back into gear in this second half?

HANNOVER PENALTY

After a check with VAR, the referee has awarded a penalty to Hannover after a handball from Jerome Boateng.

TWO IS THE LEAD, BUT IT SHOULD BE MORE

Chances galore for the home side after taking 27 minutes to break the deadlock. It could have been different had Haraguchi headed Hannover in front, but that was the only moment Bayern have allowed Hannover close to their goal in a dominant half of football. Goretzka will be shocked to have only scored once, while Esser has been the main reason that the score is only 2-0. It will require a dramatic turnaround for Bayern to not go five points ahead come full-time.
45'

GORETZKA HITS THE BAR!

What play from Kimmich as he races into the box, perfectly brings down the ball while under pressure from a defender, and cuts the ball back for Goretzka in front of goal with composure. Sadly, he isn't rewarded with an assist, as Goretzka smashes the ball off the crossbar and into the crowd from all of five yards out before putting his head in his hands with disgust.
43'

COMAN CURLS SO, SO CLOSE

Fantastic effort from the Frenchman as he collects the ball in space on the left corner of Hannover's box and has one thing in his mind. He curls towards the far top corner and makes Esser panic across his goal-line as it dips towards the net, but luckily for Hannover, it didn't dip enough to find the back of the net.
42'

ALMOST ANOTHER FOR GORETZKA

A cross to the back post is headed down by Lewandowski unselfishly, and Goretzka gets to it first to fire at goal. But Felipe and Anton do fantastically to combine and block the ball over their own crossbar.

GORETZKA FIRES BAYERN TWO AHEAD!

Coman plays the ball along the edge of the box to Goretzka, who has far too much time and space to pick his spot on goal. And he does so superbly, giving the outstanding Esser no chance as he picks out the bottom corner.

ESSER SAVES FROM BOATENG

A corner swings in, and is headed out only as far as Boateng on the edge of the Hannover box. He shoots on his left and curls it towards the bottom corner, but Esser produces another superb save with his left hand to parry the ball away.
35'

BAYERN REMAIN IN CONTROL

The ball is being worked wide at every opportunity to Gnabry and Coman by the Bayern team. Using the likes of Kimmich and Alaba as well, it has been the best avenue through the Hannover defence so far, as Müller takes a shot and forces a nice save from Esser.
27'

LEWANDOWSKI HEADS HOME!

Kimmich's cross is perfect and so is Lewandowski's run, and Bayern have taken a first-half lead. All too easy for Bayern there with a goal that was coming after their early pressure. Five points is now the lead for the leaders.

Robert Lewandowski

MÜLLER GOES AS CLOSE AS WE HAVE COME

Gnabry strolls into the box and finds Kimmich overlapping, who is able to play the ball across for Müller. The German clips the ball at goal but it is saved by Esser and then bounces out of play back off Müller.
20'

BAYERN BEING MADE TO WORK

Far from simple stuff for Bayern so far, with Hannover working the ball well into attack, despite only producing the one chance on goal so far. The home side have seen more of the ball, but Esser has not had to deal with any truly clear-cut chances. Captain Prmin Scwegler is down right now, and may need to be replaced, though.
13'

ANOTHER EARLY ESSER SAVE

Lewandowski's header is saved by Esser this time, with the Bundesliga's best shot-stopper this season doing what he does best so far. If it wasn't for the Hannover No.1 being in the form he has been this season, Hannover would likely already be relegated.
12'

COMAN FORCES A BIG SAVE

Kimmich is given time to dink a cross to the back post where Coman is making a fantastic run to meet the ball. He's challenged by Sorg, so has to head at goal, but Esser is positioned well enough to parry the ball away off his own goal-line.
9'

FIRST CHANCE FOR BAYERN

A ball is played into the Hannover box with Goretzka making a nice run. He just reaches the ball in time to get the faintest of touches, but Esser blocks it well. Coman goes for goal with the follow-up but it goes just over the away side's crossbar.
5'

HARAGUCHI HEADS WIDE

The first chance of the game comes for the home side. Good pressing of Goretzka in his own half forces a mistake and Maina takes the ball down the left, before crossing into the box. It loops over Weydandt, but Haraguchi made a great run in between Boateng and Alaba to meet the ball. But his header is weak, and goes well wide. A big chance there for the Japan international.

UNDERWAY IN MUNICH!

How many points will Bayern be clear of Dortmund at full-time in the Allianz Arena?
キックオフ

LETS GET THIS SHOW ON THE ROAD...

Just over five minutes to kick off here in Munich with the league leaders having the opportunity to extend their lead at the top of the league before Dortmund take to the pitch later. Can they do it? Let's find out...

FIRST TIME WITH ALL THE WINGERS

It's a very first for Bayern today that Kingsley Coman, Serge Gnabry, Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery are all in the same Matchday squad. Incredibly, at least one of them has always been missing so far this season.

ROBBERY SWANSONG?

We know that it is Arjen Robben's last season with Bayern, but it could be Franck Ribery's, too. The pair are on the bench today for Niko Kovac and could both say goodbye to their beloved home fans, with huge fixtures in the title race against RB Leipzig and Eintracht Frankfurt to come.

NO JAMES FOR BAYERN

After picking up a knee injury against Nuremberg last week, the Colombian has not been risked today by Niko Kovac as Bayern look to go five points clear of Dortmund before they play in Bremen this evening. Thomas Müller resumes his role in the No.10 spot, while James is expected to return before the end of the season for the defending champions.

HANNOVER LINE-UP!

Esser - Sorg, Anton, Felipe, Albornoz, Ostrzolek - Haraguchi, Schwegler (c), Walace - Maina - Weydandt (SUBS:  Sahin-Radlinger, Korb, Prib, Jonathas, Fossum, Wimmer, Muslija)

BAYERN LINE-UP!

Ulreich - Kimmich, Süle, Boateng, Alaba - Goretzka, Thiago - Gnabry, Müller (c), Coman - Lewandowski (SUBS:   Hoffmann, Hummels, Ribery, Robben, Rafinha, Tolisso, Sanches)

HANNOVER HISTORY-MAKERS?

Only one in Bundesliga history has a team sitting bottom of the table beaten the team leading the league away from home. It happened in August 1996, when Düsseldorf beat Bayer Leverkusen 1-0. Will it be an historic day for Hannover in Munich?

THE BATTLE FOR SURVIVAL

It's a simple task for Hannover. Should they be defeated and VfB Stuttgart pick up a point, Hannover will be relegated today. A win against Bayern would give them hope to fight for the next two weekends. The current six-point gap, with three games to play, is perilous for Thomas Doll's men. Games against Freiburg and Fortuna Düsseldorf follow, should they live to fight after the trip to the Allianz Arena today.

WHY IS LEWANDOWSKI NEVER INJURED?

The Bayern Munich No.9 has played at least 30 games for the past nine seasons and is almost never injured - how does Lewy do it? We've revealed all the secrets after looking into the incredible stats behind Lewandowski's fitness. You can check out the article on the bundesliga.com homepage.

THE NEXT CHAPTER OF THE TITLE RACE

It's Bayern Munich to make the first move in the title race today. The defending champions can move five points clear of Borussia Dortmund in what is the closest title race since 2009/10, when Schalke were just two points behind Bayern after 31 matches. Hannover are standing in the way of Bayern today, desperately fighting for survival at the bottom of the table.

Welcome along to the match centre for the game FC Bayern vs. Hannover from matchday 32 of the 2018/19 Bundesliga season at the Allianz Arena. Check back here for full information on the match.
