BACK UNDERWAY!

The second half is rolling in Dortmund with the scores level. No changes at the break as both sides now play towards their own fans (BVB towards the Yellow Wall!).
89'

INTO THE FINAL FEW MINUTES!

It's all Gladbach's ball, but Dortmund's defence has been outstanding. Julian Weigl and Ömer Toprak can be proud of themselves tonight, keeping Thorgan Hazard and Alassane Plea quiet. The home side are still pressing enough to keep Roman Bürki's hands cold.
82'

FINAL GLADBACH CHANGE!

One young midfielder replaces the other, as Mickael Cuisance replaces Florian Neuhaus who has had an up-and-down game tonight. Can the Frenchman now inspire a comeback?
79'

WILL WE SEE MORE GOALS?

The game has slowed down before we head into the final 10 minutes. Dortmund having to defend first and attack second, with Gladbach controlling the ball at the moment. Both sides have made five fouls in the game, showing how tight and nervy it has been.
74'

THE CHANGES ARE BEING MADE...

Ibrahima Traore and Jonas Hofmann on for the Foals, trying to add a new edge to their attack which has been nulified by Dortmund in this second half so far.
73'

GÖTZE THE ASSIST KING !

Having come on from the bench for the injured Alcacer, Mario Götze has assisted both of Dortmund's goals. It's the first time since April 2013 that he's assisted two goals in a Bundesliga game.
65'

REUS HITS THE POST!

It was Reus and Guerreiro over the free-kick again, setting up for something special, and it almost was. Reus steps up and curls the ball towards goal, over the wall and beyond Sommer... but it bounces back out of the near post. That's the sixth time BVB have hit the woodwork this season.
63'

GLADBACH PUSHING FORWARD

It was a slow start to the half from the away side, but now they are forcing more from themselves. Long balls forward or tight through balls are being risked to try and bring more chances on goal. So far, Dortmund are staying firm in defence.
58'

DORTMUND DEADLY ON THE BREAK!

Hakimi shows his raw pace as he breaks away for the home side, but this time the chance comes to nothing. Gladbach are being allowed most of the possession in this second half, but Dortmund are making the most of it went they win it back.
55'

REUS GIVES BVB THE LEAD!

What a season he's having. His 11th goal of the season as Dortmund break with Sancho. He cuts inside, then finds Götze in the Englishman's usual spot on the right wing and it's an inch-perfect ball across the ground to the back post which Reus meets and slides home to restore Dortmund's lead.

GLADBACH LEVEL BEFORE THE BREAK!

Zakaria crosses into the box for Hazard and Kramer, and the ball falls down off the World Cup winner and loose in the box. Kramer is then the first to the ball and pokes home past Bürki into the Dortmund net. We have a game on our hands...

A TACTICAL HALF WITH A TREMENDOUS END!

It was tight and nervy for 40 minutes before the goals came late on. Sancho's superb solo effort deservedly gave Dortmund the lead, before Gladbach's second shot on target off the half produced the game's second goal against the run of play. We're set-up perfectly for the second period.
42'

SUPER SANCHO!

Beyer makes a mistake in midfield and Dortmund break. Guerreiro finds Reus in behind, who cuts the ball across to Götze in the box. He then finds Sancho, who goes one-on-one with Wendt and beats him to the right before shooting right across goal, beyond Sommer, and in off the post. His sixth of the season. What a player!

ALL DORTMUND RIGHT NOW...

The home side are in total control of the ball, but as soon as they enter the Gladbach half, the pressure is incredibly intense from the away side. No space has been found for Reus, Götze, Sancho or Guerreiro in attack.
32'

ALCACER INJURED!

The Spaniard is unable to continue here, and he is off the pitch. There were no signs of a problem for the striker, so an unfortunate and unrecognisable injury for the home side. Mario Götze is set to come on the next time we have a break in play...
30'

A STRIKE FROM DISTANCE...

Axel Witsel showing some of Dortmund's early frustrations as he strikes at goal from distance. No problem for Sommer, as the Foals continue to stand firm in front of the BVB attack. The Foals are happy to allow their opponents possession, until they reach the final third of Gladbach's half.
28'

DORTMUND THE BETTER SIDE SO FAR...

While chances have been relatively hard to come by so far, Dortmund's domination of possession so far has them in control at home. Reus is struggling to get into the game with Gladbach's midfield and defence staying incredibly compact without the ball. The BVB captain is looking for any inch of space that might open a chance...
21'

DORTMUND ON TOP!

Reus is in behind the defence down the left flank and cuts the ball back into the box for Alcacer, but the Spaniard's toe-poke effort at goal doesn't produce what he'd hoped for. A rare shot off target for Alcacer...
20'

BIG CHANCE FOR REUS!

That's the first time either keeper has been tested as Paco Alcacer's through ball finds Marco Reus in on goal at an angle. He attempts to find the far bottom corner, but Sommer reads him well and palms the ball away.
14'

SANCHO GETTING STARTED

The Englishman has a run into the box on the right side of Gladbach's area and crosses to the back post. Guerreiro goes down under a challenge, but referee Felix Zwayer waves it away. Sancho has been drifting inside more often than not so far, attempting to get his lightning-quick feet on the ball.
9'

BOTH SIDES LOOKING CONFIDENT

You can tell these two sides are high up the table. Both look confident and comfortable in possession in the opening ten minutes. Gladbach defend well against a short counter from the home side, and Hakimi's shot drags wide of goal from Sommer. Our first true effort on goal.
6'

BVB PRESSING HIGH!

Gladbach have been control of most of the possession thus far, but have had to use it in their own half, with Dortmund pressing high to win the ball back. It runs the risk of the Foals losing possession in their own half, but until now they're managing it well...
1'

KICK-OFF!

We're underway in Dortmund, with the home side kicking away from the famous Yellow Wall to start the game.

WEIGL THE MAN FOR THE BIG OCCASION?

Julian Weigl is making his first Bundesliga appearance since Matchday 11, when he started against Bayern Munich in Der Klassiker. A man for the big occasion, he now starts once again against second-placed Borussia Mönchengladbach.

GOALS COMING?

Even without both sides fielding weakened defensive line-ups, this game is surely bound to see a number of strikes hit the net at either end of the pitch. This is a meeting between the top scoring teams in the Bundesliga, with Dortmund (42) and Gladbach (35) leading the way in the league this season. Only eight players have scored nine goals or more this season, and half of them are in the game tonight. Reus, Alcacer, Hazard and Sancho are all on the hunt for more.

GLADBACH!

Sommer - Johnson, Beyer, Strobl, Wendt (c) - Kramer, Zakaria, Neuhaus - Hazard, Plea, Herrmann Substitutes:   Sippel, Lang, Traore, Drmic, Hofmann, Jantschke, Cuisance

NEITHER SIDE AT FULL STRENGTH

It's fair to see that with the amount of injuries in each of these squads, that the winter break could not come soon enough.  For Dortmund, starting centre-back pairing Manuel Akanji and Abdou Diallo are both missing, as well as young Frenchman Dan-Axel Zagadou who had inspired at the start of the season. In their place, Julian Weigl looks as if he will play alongside Ömer Toprak. The Foals have also been hit hard, with Matthias Ginter and Nico Elvedi both missing from the middle of defence, as well as Michael Lang only being fit enough for a place on the bench. Oscar Wendt starts at left-back, and Christoph Kramer is a welcome return in midfield...

DORTMUND!

Bürki - Piszczek, Weigl, Toprak, Hakimi - Witsel, Delaney - Sancho, Reus (c), Guerreiro - Alcacer Substitutes:   Hitz, Pieper, Dahoud, Pulisic, Götze, Wolf, Bruun Larsen
