Cologne's U19s set the tone
Cologne's youngsters had reason to celebrate earlier today. Against Bayer 04 Leverkusen, the Billy Goats' U19s secured the championship title. It could be a big day of celebration in Cologne. However, the visitors from Kaiserslautern are also eyeing third place and the relegation play-off berth that goes with it.
Two changes for Lautern
The Palatinate side must do without Redondo (suspended due to yellow cards) and Yokota (not in the squad). Kleinhansl and Wekesser move into the starting lineup in their place.
Downs replaces Lemperle
Downs replaces Lemperle (bench) in attack for the Billy Goats. Otherwise, Funkel trusts the team that won in Nuremberg last week.

Split allegiances
For Cologne boss Friedhelm Funkel, it will be a special encounter. The 71-year-old once played for Lautern, scoring 31 goals in 90 matches for the Red Devils. Last season too, Funkel took over Kaiserslautern as coach, keeping them in the league and leading them to the DFB Cup final.
Home away from home
Lautern have picked up points in 16 out of their last 17 matches in Cologne.
A rare three points
Cologne won the reverse fixture 1-0 at the Betzenberg earlier in the season. It was Cologne's third victory in the last 36 encounters with Lautern.
Cologne to lose U17 World Champion
A top talent is leaving Cologne: U17 World Champion Justin von der Hitz will transfer to Nuremberg in the summer, leaving behind the Billy Goats' U19 team.
Hosts likely without top scorer
Will Cologne have to do without their top scorer in the 'promotion decider' against Kaiserslautern next Sunday? The Billy Goats confirmed on Monday via their official channels that Tim Lemperle suffered facial injuries in a violent attack last weekend and is likely to miss the encounter on Matchday 34.
