Here they come at last!
Fürth make a final push towards the goal, Hrgota's shot ends up in the side netting.

Another double substitution
For the Cloverleaves, Mause and Srbeny are now allowed to come on, replacing Asta and Klaus.
85'
Frustration is evident
After a failed attack, Consbruch pulls down his opponent and then complains so vehemently about the whistle that he receives a yellow card.
81'
Another substitution
The goalscorer Tzimas has now also finished his shift.
78'
Good free-kick position
However, Nuremberg don't shoot directly. The short free-kick leads to a throw-in, then Fürth regain possession.

Ball magnet Knoche
Robin Knoche has already been on the ball 118 times (by far the most of all players), won 75 percent of his duels and has a pass completion rate of 93 percent.
74'
Double substitution
Klose makes his second change, this time bringing on two new players.
70'
Like in the first half of the season?
In the reverse fixture, Nürnberg also led Fürth 3-0 at half-time, eventually winning 4-0. It's in the Franconian derby of all matches that FCN have established their two highest half-time leads this season. In their second-tier history, Der Club has never led by a larger margin in the first half.
68'
Chances?
Few and far between. There's hardly been any penalty area action in the second half.
67'
Symbolic
The hosts pass the ball back and forth for a long time. At some point, Justvan simply decides to make a run with the ball at his feet and spots Antiste making a forward run. However, the pass is overhit, and Fürth regain possession as Nuremberg drop back again.

With the heel
Good idea from Hrgota, attempting to flick the ball on with a short touch of his heel towards the attacking line, but it goes a few metres wide of the nearest teammate.
54'
FCN gaining the upper hand
After Fürth's initial period of pressure following the restart, the hosts are now regaining control. They are passing the ball through their own ranks, albeit quite far from the opposition's goal.
52'
Almost dangerous
Loosli gets to the ball before Tzimas can receive a through pass in a promising position.
50'
Futkeu!
The corner itself is harmless, but Hrgota retrieves the ball and plays it back out to Green. He lays it off to Futkeu, whose shot comes in with pace – but over the crossbar.
50'
Corner
Now a set-piece opportunity.
48'
More pace
It's obvious what the Cloverleaves have planned for the second half, quickly move the ball through their own ranks, with pressure going forward. It's working to some extent, but so far a Nuremberg player has always been there in time before it became dangerous.
46'
We're back underway!
Referee Reichel signals the resumption and the second 45 minutes begin.

3-0 before the break!
Jander wins the ball from his opponent after a Fürth throw-in, still in his own half. Out of the corner of his eye, he spots Tzimas making a run and plays a sublime outside-of-the-boot pass over half the pitch, completely bypassing Fürth's entire backline. The ball falls perfectly into Tzimas's path, who runs clean through on Noll and confidently beats him with a powerful shot into the right corner.

Yellow card
Lubach catches Hrgota on the heels in midfield and sees yellow for it.
41'
Injured
Quarshie took a hit to the face and has to be replaced by Jung.
39'
2-0!
Brilliantly played by Nuremberg. They first win the ball back with aggressive pressing, then quickly switch play to the right to Janisch. He slips it through to Drexler and then the artistry begins. With an elegant turn, he leaves Hrgota chasing shadows, then spots Justvan making a run to the far post, serving the ball to him on a plate, leaving him with a simple tap-in.
34'
Huge chance!
After a failed headed clearance by Itter, Tzimas gets the ball at his feet and shoots from left of centre without hesitation. Noll saves but the ball remains live and almost falls to Janisch, who would only have had to tap it over the line. It was just centimetres away.
33'
Combination play
Textbook football now from the hosts with possession rotations and several triangles on the left side up to the corner of the penalty area. There, they lose the ball.
31'
Unusually early goal
As not much is happening on the pitch at the moment, here are a few facts about the goal. It was Nuremberg's earliest league goal since 7 May 2023. On that day, they also scored in the fourth minute at home against Kaiserslautern to take a 1-0 lead (final score 3-3). And Jander has already provided his fifth assist this season; only Justvan has set up more goals for Der Club (eight).
28'
Great sight
The Nuremberg fans have coordinated their attire. The stands around the north end are still resplendent in red and white stripes, even after the choreography.
25'
Hardly any penalty area action
After the fast-paced opening phase, the game has slowed down a bit. Now the fans are mainly seeing interruptions and a battle for midfield control.
22'
Misunderstanding
Green wants to bring the ball back into play with a short pass. The subsequent back pass, which he apparently didn't expect, ends up behind his back and goes out for a throw.
21'
Jander mows down Itter
He receives a yellow card for that, and there's also a free-kick from the left-hand side. Green steps up to take it.
20'
No danger
The corner is harmless, but Nuremberg can't properly clear the ball away from their own goal. The visitors have possession.
20'
Another corner
Asta wins another corner, and once again Green will deliver the ball from the right.
18'
Yellow card for Green
A tackle that was too hard earns the Fürth player the first booking of the match.
17'
Hrgota tries his luck
Asta attempts to cross from the corner into the penalty area, but the ball is deflected. Corner. Green delivers the ball into the danger zone. It's cleared, but falls to Hrgota, who hits it first time - way, way over the bar.
14'
Heated!
Hrgota receives a cross at the edge of the six-yard box with a technically demanding touch and then tries one dribble too many in tight space, falls to the ground and demands a penalty. The stadium erupts, but referee Reichel remains composed and signals to play on.
13'
Fürth on the front foot
Now it's the visitors who are gaining the upper hand. A prolonged spell of possession ends with Futkeu taking a long-range shot. It goes well over the bar.
10'
Quarshie!
The centre-back rises higher than everyone else and heads the corner towards goal. Reichert manages to save it without much trouble.
10'
Corner for Fürth
The visitors establish themselves in the attacking third, with Hrgota winning a corner kick.
9'
Fifth goal for Justvan
Justvan now has five Bundesliga 2 goals this season. The previous four came from only two games, getting a hat-trick in the 8-3 win over Regensburg and one more in the 4-3 win against Magdeburg.
8'
Perfect start
Well, this is exactly how Club fans would have imagined things. The first shot results in a goal. The visitors need to regroup, while Nuremberg keep possession, passing the ball around within their own ranks.
4'
1-0!
An early lead for Nuremberg and the stadium goes wild! After a well-thought-out combination, Jander has plenty of space on the right side and plays a low pass parallel to the penalty area into the middle. From 20 metres out, Tzimas could have shot directly, but cleverly lets it through to Justvan positioned behind him. He takes it and coolly finishes into the bottom right corner. No chance for Noll!
3'
Set piece
The visitors are awarded a free-kick in the attacking half. Hrgota attempts to cross, but his effort sails over friend and foe alike and out for a goal-kick.
3'
Feeling each other out
It's a slow start, with neither side wanting to make the first mistake.

The visitors have also prepared something
The Fürth supporters have also unveiled a choreography. The fans are simply and emphatically demanding a "derby victory" from their team as part of an artistic display that unfurls over them during the teams' entrance.
Fantastic atmosphere
The Nuremberg fans don't miss the opportunity to display a choreography for the derby. "Your name matured through glorious times - your history endures for eternity" is written in large letters between the upper and lower tiers. The stands are bathed in red, white and black.

Noll fit again
Fürth's first-choice goalkeeper Nahuel Noll had missed the last two matches in Düsseldorf (2-1) and at home against Magdeburg (1-1) due to a thigh injury.
Starting opportunity for Lubach
Rafael Lubach starts for the hosts for only the eighth time this season (last time on Matchday 23 in the 0-0 draw in Berlin), while the 20-year-old midfielder has been brought on as a substitute 12 times.
Three changes for Fürth
Jan Siewert makes three changes to his starting XI from the 1-1 draw at home to Magdeburg with Noll, John and Klaus playing in place of Grill, Consbruch and Gießelmann (all on the bench).
Nuremberg with two changes
Miroslav Klose makes two changes to his starting line-up compared to last week's 1-0 victory in Münster as Karafiát and Lubach play in place of Seidel (on the bench) and Castrop (not in the squad).
Fürth starting XI
Noll - Loosli, Quarshie, Itter - Asta, Dietz, Green, John - Hrgota - Klaus, Futkeu
Nuremberg starting XI
Reichert - Drexler, Knoche, Karafiat - Janisch, Jander, Yilmaz - Justvan, Lubach - Tzimas, Antiste
Jan Siewert's view on Nuremberg
"It's about the collective and on doing the simple things right. I'm thinking of Julian Green's situation before the goal against Magdeburg. Choosing that clear first touch and seeing your teammate. These are the things that become particularly important in a match like this. Doing things right that may look simple, but actually require good technique and tactical awareness."
Miroslav Klose's view on Fürth
"Of course, people talk to you about the match. It's something special for the city, the club and our fans. But it's special for us too. If we implement what we want to do, we can secure a derby victory. That's our goal."
It's been a while
In Bundesliga 2, Nuremberg last won both derbies in the same season in 1977/78.

Fürth stronger recently
Overall, Nuremberg clearly have the upper hand (141 wins for Nuremberg, 51 draws, 81 wins for Fürth), but of the last 30 derbies, the 'Clubberers' have only managed to win six (eleven draws, 13 wins for Fürth - including the Cloverleaves winning four of their last six away matches).
A record derby
The Franconian derby between Nuremberg and Fürth is taking place for the 274th time - making it Germany's most frequently played derby.
