Following a period of pressure from Ulm, Kaiserslautern managed to equalise with a counter-attack goal. The veteran Ludwig has only been on the pitch for one minute this season, having been substituted in on matchday 7 during Ulm's last victory against Braunschweig. The 34-year-old last started in the Bundesliga 2 nearly 10 years ago, in May 2015 for VfR Aalen.
