FC Bayern München's unwavering will to win and unquestionable quality made all the difference as the five-time European champions advanced to the quarter finals of the 2015/16 Champions League at the expense of Juventus FC on a dramatic night at the Allianz Arena.

FC Bayern München 4-2 Juventus FC AET (agg.6-4)

Goals: 0-1 Pogba (5'), 0-2 Cuadrado (28'), 1-2 Lewandowski (73'), 2-2 Müller (90'), 3-2 Thiago (108'), 4-2 Coman (110')

Thomas Müller (Bayern forward): "It was obviously a good moment to score. It was a great cross to receive. Juve pressed a lot in the first half, but by extra time we had a little bit more energy and that meant that there was a bit more space to use. Arturo Vidal covered a lot of ground today. We really didn't want to concede the third goal. Obviously we had to try and push forward [after going behind] but we couldn't take too many risks. Football's always exciting when both teams have quality. Fortunately a lot can happen in football, which makes it such a fun game to play and watch."

David Alaba (Bayern defender): "I'm definitely relieved. We all are. We didn't start the way we had planned, but you have to keep believing and in the end we deserved to win. Our coach Pep Guardiola always gets his point across on the touchline - it's easy to tell what he wants from us and we managed to do exactly what he wanted from us today."

Joshua Kimmich (Bayern defender/ midfielder): "We kept believing, that's why we turned it around."

Pep Guardiola (Bayern head coach): "Juventus played with five at the back and four in midfield, but we knew what to expect from them. They were sitting very deep so it was very difficult for us to create chances. But our patience and quality - particularly with Douglas [Costa] and [Kinglsey] Coman - shone through in the end."
