There were mixed feelings in the FC Bayern München camp following their 2-2 draw away to Juventus FC in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League Round of 16 first leg tie.
Arjen Robben (Bayern attacker): "We’re all left with a sour taste, not only the coach. If you’re 2-0 up, you shouldn’t end up drawing 2-2. In the return leg we’ll have to play with heart and passion, but also with our heads.”
Thomas Müller (Bayern attacker): "We're going home with mixed feelings but a good result."
Manuel Neuer (Bayern goalkeeper): “We could’ve come away with more today. All the chaos in the stadium caused us to lose our composure a bit.”
Philipp Lahm (Bayern captain): "We shouldn’t forget that we played against a good team. It's not always easy to play the way we did in the first half. We totally controlled the match for the first hour. We played very, very well. We’re in a great position going into the second leg.”
What a thrilling match...🔥In the end a solid base for the second leg. #JuveFCB— Holger Badstuber (@Badstuber) February 23, 2016
