Chicago - Jürgen Klinsmann has named four Bundesliga stars in his squad for the USA's defence of their title at the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup.
Borussia Mönchengladbach's Fabian Johnson, Eintracht Frankfurt's Timothy Chandler and Hertha Berlin's John Anthony Brooks will bolster the backline, while midfielder Alfredo Morales of newly-promoted FC Ingolstadt 04 also forms part of Klinsmann's 23-man ensemble for the tournament, which will be co-hosted by the USA and Canada.
World Cup experience
Johnson, Chandler and Brooks all played key roles as the US Men's National Team reached the FIFA World Cup 2014 Round of 16 stage, although Morales wasn't part of the squad which travelled to Brazil.
All four featured as Klinsmann's side defeated Germany 2-1 in 1. FC Köln's RheinEnergieStadion earlier this month, however. The USMNT face Guatemala in a pre-tournament friendly on 3 July, before getting their campaign underway against Honduras four days later in Frisco, Texas.
