Nyon - VfL Wolfsburg have been drawn against FC Internazionale Milano in the last 16 of the 2014/15 UEFA Europa League.

The Wolves defeated Sporting Clube de Portugal 2-0 on aggregate to reach the last 16 for the first time since 2010, when they made it as far as the quarter-final stage.

Three-time winners

With Inter, Dieter Hecking's men come up against some strong European pedigree. The Nerazzurri have won the tournament three times, while their last continental success was victory in the UEFA Champions League in 2010, when they beat FC Bayern München in the final.

Former Bundesliga stars Xherdan Shaqiri and Zdravko Kuzmanovic feature in a side led by Italian coach Roberto Mancini. The first leg will be played at the Volkswagen-Arena on Thursday 12 March with the return fixture a week later at the San Siro.
