Nyon - Borussia Mönchengladbach have been drawn against FK Sarajevo in the UEFA Europa League play-off round.

Lucien Favre's men will face the Bosnian outfit for the chance to qualify for the group stages of the competition. FK Sarajevo have never before progressed beyond the qualification rounds, while the Foals are two-time winners of the competition, most recently reaching the Round of 32 in 2012/13.

Foals to join Wolves?

"To qualify for this competition from the Bosnian league, you need quality. In terms of logistics and the distance we have to travel, it could have been worse," said Gladbach sporting director Max Eberl.

VfL Wolfsburg are already in the group stages by virtue of finishing fifth in the Bundesliga, while 1. FSV Mainz 05 crashed out in the third qualifying round after suffering a 3-2 aggregate loss to Greek side Asteras Tripolis.

The final will be held in Warsaw's Stadion Narodowy, with the winner of the competition qualifying for the 2015/16 UEFA Champions League.
