SC Freiburg 2-2 FC Slovan Liberec89' WHAT. A. SAVE. Oliver Baumann may just have prevented his side from giving the visitors all three points. Jiri Fleisman chances his arm from long-range and has the Freiburg keeper at full stretch to get finger tips on the effort to tip it over the bar.
SC Freiburg 2-2 FC Slovan Liberec85' It was all going so well for Freiburg and now they have to be careful not a third goal. SC Freiburg 2-2 FC Slovan Liberec77’ RED CARD Freiburg are falling apart. After going into the second half with a two-goal lead the Black Forest outfit are lucky not to fall behind as Michael Rabusic draws a fine save out of Oliver Baumann before htting the woodwork on the follow up. However, as if things couldn't get any worse Karim Guede picks up his second bookable offence, reducing the hosts to ten-men for the final quarter of an hour.
SC Freiburg 2-2 FC Slovan Liberec74’ GOAL! Things go from bad to worse for Freiburg as Liberec level the scores courtesy of Admir Mehmedi's awful back-pass. The striker, scorer of the hosts' second goal, gives the ball straight to Michael Rabusic in an attempt to play the ball back to Oliver Baumann, presenting the forward with a clear run at goal which he duly accepts curling the ball past the Freiburg keeper to complete the visitors comeback.
SC Freiburg 2-1 FC Slovan Liberec72' Freiburg have respond to conceding by going close to restoring their lead when Oliver Sorg slices a shot just wide of the post. Freiburg head coach Christian Streich makes his first change of the game bringing on striker Karim Guede for Sebastian Kerk, who impressed greatly on his starting line-up debut. However, Streich then has to watch on in horror as Oliver Baumann fails to deal with Vladyslav Kalitvintsev's long-range effort, allowing the ball to spill into the back of the net. Disappointing from the Germany U-21 keeper there. That goal came out of absolutely nowhere!
SC Freiburg 2-0 FC Slovan Liberec65' Liberec have seen more of the ball in the last few minutes, but are still yet to cause Oliver Baumann any real issues in goal. Freiburg aren't throwing as many men forward in an attempt to preserve their two-goal lead and seem to be biding their time in terms of seeking out a third goal to put the encounter beyond reach.
SC Freiburg 2-0 FC Slovan Liberec58' Freiburg are stroking the ball about with confidence and purpose, but aren't asserting themselves in the final third in the same way they did during the first half. At the other end Dzon Demarge sees his effort blocked behind for a corner, which Oliver Baumann does well to claw away from danger having come off his line.
SC Freiburg 2-0 FC Slovan Liberec51' Freiburg have looked strong going forward, but can be praised just as much for their defensive work, which has been exemplary at times. The hosts are pressing Liberec high up the pitch and giving them little time in possession, which in leading to the visitors making mistakes. Mike Hanke's shot from range the only noteworthy chance of the second half so far.
SC Freiburg 2-0 FC Slovan LiberecSECOND HALF No changes at half-time for the home side and hopefully there won't be a change in proceedings. Freiburg have been on top for the majority of the match so far, but there's no doubt Christian Streich will be demanding more from his side. He's like that, the charismatic coach!

Christian Streich's charges have rarely let their grip slip on porceedings during the opening 45 minutes and deserve tho go in at the break two goals to the good courstey of Julian Schuster's penalty and Admir Mehmedi's sensational strike. More of the same in the second half please!
SC Freiburg 2-0 FC Slovan Liberec42' Liberec aren't rolling over despite already being two goals down. However, they are struggling to create from open play and relying on set-pieces to push men forward. Eintracht Frankfurt 3-0 FC Girondins de Bordeaux82' Vaclav Kadlec opened the sscoring, setting Frankfurt on their way and has put in a superb performance in the lone striker role. His evening is brought to an early end though as he comes off to an ovation from the supporters to be replaced by Srjdan Lakic.
Eintracht Frankfurt 3-0 FC Girondins de Bordeaux77' The sending off has taken some of the pace out of the encounter with Bordeaux more focused on damage limitation than trying to sneak a consolation goal. Frankfurt are content to see the game out with a 3-0 scoreline. Their job is done, but they wouldn't say no to fourth goal, which would undoubtedly delight the home fans, who have created an incredible atmosphere inside the Commerzbank Arena.
Eintracht Frankfurt 3-0 FC Girondins de Bordeaux67' With Bordeaux reduced to ten-men, Frankfurt are showing signs that they're ready to go for the jugular as Constant Djakpa sees his long-range effort deflected behind for a corner. Sebastian Rode appears to have picked up a knock and as a result Armin Veh brings Stefano Celozzi on in his place.
Eintracht Frankfurt 3-0 FC Girondins de Bordeaux61’ RED CARD! There may be a Mexican Wave going around the Commerzbank Arena, but Frankfurt aren't letting up on the pitch and now have a man advantage. Having just failed to find the target with a first-time shot, Tranquillo Barnetta earns his side a free-kick in a dangerous area. Lucas Orban picks up a straight red card for committing a foul as the last man, but Constant Djakpa can't quite reproduce his effort from earlier, firing over from the dead-ball situation.
Eintracht Frankfurt 3-0 FC Girondins de Bordeaux52’ GOAL! What a free-kick! Sebastian Rode is fouled on the edge of the area and from the resulting set-piece Constant Djakpa opts against going over the wall and instead curls the ball through a packed penalty area to find the bottom corner. Frankfurt fans exploded as the goal went in. They know they're witnessing a special performance from their side, which completely justifies their now three-goal lead.
Eintracht Frankfurt 2-0 FC Girondins de Bordeaux48' Bordeaux's best chances in the first-half came from set-pieces and an early corner in the second-half sees Henrique draw the first real save out of Kevin Trapp. The French side are looking to hit back, but will have to do better than that if they want to beat one of Germany's most promising keepers.

Frankfurt have made a change at the break as Johannes Flum comes on in place of Takashi Inui. Eintracht Frankfurt 2-0 FC Girondins de BordeauxHALF-TIME VIDEO: Vaclav Kadlec has made an instant impact since joining Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer. The Czech striker has been unstoppable in front of goal and now has four goals to his name in as many games as an Eagles' player, including the opening goal of the 2013/14 UEFA Europa League group stages. Eintracht Frankfurt 2-0 FC Girondins de BordeauxHALF-TIME: Frankfurt take a fully-deserved two-goal lead in at the break against Bordeaux. The home side started at a blistering pace and, though proceedings calmed down leading up to the break, the Eagles look to be in complete control of the encounter and on course for a win in their opening UEFA Europa League group game fixture.
Eintracht Frankfurt 2-0 FC Girondins de Bordeaux44' It should be 3-0 to the home side going in at break, but Takashi Inui's heavy touch allows Bordeaux keeper Cedric Carasso enough time to close down the space in a one-on-one situation, preventing the Japanese international from lifting the ball into the back of the net.
Eintracht Frankfurt 2-0 FC Girondins de Bordeaux39' Frankfurt fail to make the most of having a numbers advantage in the final third as Constant Djakpa opts to go for goal himself instead of using the options to his left or right. The shot was comfortably blocked by the Bordeaux backline, but it proves that the Eagles aren't willing to rest on their laurels despite boasting a 2-0 lead.
Eintracht Frankfurt 2-0 FC Girondins de Bordeaux35' The encounter has settled down somewhat following a frantic opening. Frankfurt have taken their foot off the pedal, adopting a more measured approach to their attacking exploits, while Bordeaux are still struggling to truly cause the hosts' backline any problems. Armin Veh will undoubtedly be happy with what he's seen from his side so far and will likely be asking for more of the same when he gets a chance to talk to them at half-time.
Eintracht Frankfurt 2-0 FC Girondins de Bordeaux30' Playing without fear, Frankfurt fully deserve their comfortable lead at this stage of proceedings. Sebastian Rode and Co. look composed on the ball and in front of goal and are showing plenty of ambition when moving the ball forward into the final third against a relatively timid Bordeaux side. A third goal for Frankfurt before half-time would go a long way to putting this game to bed.
Eintracht Frankfurt 2-0 FC Girondins de Bordeaux25' The first real signs of life from the visitors in front of goal. Bordeaux have boasted a couple of half-chances in the game so far, but are yet to draw a save out of Kevin Trapp. However, they go close to pulling a goal back when Andre Pako heads wide of the near post from six yards.
Eintracht Frankfurt 2-0 FC Girondins de Bordeaux22' Frankfurt are keeping themselves well and truly on the front foot in front of their home crowd and playing some scintillating one-touch football to boot. The Eagles' wing play seems to be the heart beat of their attacking threat as they go within a lick of paint of grabbing a third goal when Bamba Anderson heads over the bar from Constant Djakpa's pin-point cross.
Eintracht Frankfurt 2-0 FC Girondins de Bordeaux16’ GOAL! Frankfurt make no mistake this time though as they work a short corner to Tranquillo Barnetta, who having missed just moments ago, clips in a delightful cross into the heart of the danger area where Marco Russ is on hand to place the ball into the back of the net. Less than 20 minutes played and the Eagles' return to European action is going as well as could be expected!
Eintracht Frankfurt 1-0 FC Girondins de Bordeaux13' A glorious chance for Frankfurt to extend their lead goes beggining. Takashi Inui does well to beat Julien Faubert for pace down the left flank, but Tranquillo Barnetta fails to get enough on the Japanese international's deflected cross to turn inside the far post.
Eintracht Frankfurt 1-0 FC Girondins de Bordeaux10' Frankfurt have got themselves off to the perfect start and, as of yet, there's little to see from Bordeaux, who seem to be struggling to get to grips with what the Eagles' are bringing to the table. Armin Veh's side have had over 70 per cent of possession so far in the encounter and aren't about to sit back and relax with a one-goal lead.
Eintracht Frankfurt 1-0 FC Girondins de Bordeaux4’ GOAL! An early corner for Frankfurt sees Sebastian Jung's effort on the rebound blocked, but the Eagles reset themselves and immediately grab the all-important opening goal. Stefan Aigner makes a nuisance of himself inside the area as the ball finds it's way into the path of Vaclav Kadlec, who makes no mistake slamming home his fourth goal in as many games.
Eintracht Frankfurt 0-0 FC Girondins de BordeauxKICK-OFF: We're underway with Eintracht Frankfurt aiming to get their UEFA Europa League campaign off on the right foot. The Eagles have put out a strong squad and the atmosphere inside the stadium is electric. The home fans are loving the return to the European stage after a seven-year absence.
